Furnica 2X SOFT CLOSE KITCHEN DOOR HINGE

I bought one pair of these to test as a replacement for one of my kitchen cabinet hinges, as one of the originals (at least 15 years old) had broken. The original hinges in my units have 35mm totally circular "cups" for the door side of the hinge fitting. These H'a'fele brand soft-closure hinges snugly fit the original 35mm socket drilled in the door very nicely, despite the "cup" not being a full circle like the old one. The only adjustment required was for the screw holes to secure the "T" end of the hinge, as these were in a slightly different position from the old hinge, thus requiring new pilot holes - easily sorted by simple pencil mark-up and a 2mm drill bit. The kit comes supplied with all required screws, but for this particular fit I re-used the ones from the hinges I was replacing. The other half of the hinge fitting (the bit that fits to the main carcase side) were an exact fit to the existing holes, no adjustment or drilling required. As per the illustration photo, these use the chunky screws with flat ends/tips (I think I've seen people refer to these as "Euro screws"?) that hold well in the chipboard/fibreboard that the unit carcases are commonly made from. Note that these H'a'fele hinges are "quick release" models - there is a simple button to push on the far end/tip of the hinge arm that releases it from the carcase mounting plate - I mention this as this initially confused me compared to the old system (I've only ever seen the old style which require one of the two screws in the arm to be released and to let you then slide the arm out and over the screw from the key-hole slot). The two screws on this H'a'fele model seem to be captively-retained and provide fine adjustment for the door-to-carcase gap in the X- and Y-geometry planes (to/from relative the carcase and left/right relative the carcase), allowing easy alignment to get the door square and not rubbing on the carcase. I've replaced just one hinge on each of a 2-door floor-standing unit (so one new H'a'fele and one old "snap shut" hinge on each door), and this still gives a nice soft close action. The soft-close speed would likely be softer/slower if both hinges were replaced on each door - but I'm happy with my hybrid solution for now. In the short video I've included alongside, you can see I've put the new hinges at the bottom of each door, and left the original old ones at the top. This is a nice and easy way to upgrade older units without great expense - I'll be buying more to convert the rest of my units.

Am I really reviewing some hinges? Guess I am! Have no real clue what I was doing and bought them on a bit of a whim, hoping they would fit. They built our new house with a kitchen full of soft-close cupboard doors, all bar one. Had to find some slimline ones as the ones they used around the rest of the kitchen wouldn't fit in that single cupboard - resulting in a slamming cupboard door all the time. These hinges fit (just! - screws holes were ever so slightly out to the previous hinges) and work really really well. You can give the door a good swing shut and it doesn't seem to bat an eyelid - closing it slowly and quietly. I do get the feeling the hinges are being put under extra strain when the door opens fully and worry the hinges could come off if you let go of the door when opening fully (it's a bit bit springy at the end), so just have to be a little careful there - no big deal. They're just a couple of quid's worth of hinges but so impressed.

These soft-close kitchen door hinges work perfectly! As someone with little DIY experience, I was surprised by how easy they were to install. The price is fantastic for the quality, and after using them for a while, I’m happy to say the smooth soft-close mechanism hasn’t degraded at all. If you’re looking for reliable and budget-friendly hinges, I highly recommend these!

I initially bought just one pack of these to see if they would work on my kitchen doors. Trial was successful so ordered more to complete the job. I only fitted one hinge to each door as that worked to my satisfaction. Had to drill new holes for the part that goes into door but the other holes matched up ok. Found it easiest to assemble the two parts of the hinge before fitting. Good product at a good price.

These are ok but mine were not stamped Hafele.............Hafele are a quality hardware company. The screws were all fine and hinges fit without problem. The soft close works but only if you fully open the door which "loads" the tiny piston........if you just half open the door it will bang. To sum up for the price they are fine but not as good as those supplied with the kitchen (Blum) which would cost 3 times as much

Had to replace my under sink cabinet door hinges so thought I'd try these. The old door hinges were the slide on type with just 1 retaining screw on the hinge base. These fittings just slotted into place of the old hardware (all screwholes lined up). You slide on the door onto the new hardware with 2 retaining hooks and when pushed a 'click' is head as the end hook is retained by a sprung lever. The leveling screws work great to get everything nicley alligned. Substantial system improvement over the old ones that came off.

Perfectly good hinge and very well made but the screw holes didn't match the one I was replacing.

Buenas bisagras, se acoplan por clip y no tornillos manteniendo una buena rigidez. Mis puertas son algo más grandes de lo normal y las cierra suavemente. Las compré para probar y volveré a por más.

In quanto montatore, posso dirvi con certezza che la qualità dei prodotti hafele è indiscutibile, il meccanismo di rallentamento è ottimo, per chi non fosse abituato a tale meccanismo, lasciate che le ante dei vostri mobili si chiudano da solo dopo una leggera spinta NON forzate la chiusura o il meccanismo in breve tempo cederà.

Todo perfecto. El único problema que hay que tener en cuenta es que los tornillos que vienen nececistan que la puerta tenga los mismos agujeros. Yo he tenido que utilizar otros

Pour remplacer la charnière cassée du compartiment où se trouve la poubelle. Évidemment c'est une porte que j'ouvre beaucoup plus souvent que les autres, et qui supporte en outre le poids de la poubelle. La fabrication de ce lot de deux charnières est de bonne qualité. Le produit est assez facile à poser, côté porte il s'insère dans le trou cylindrique standard d'origine.
