I love the beach-vibe of the real ceramic coasters. The cork bottoms work to keep the furniture free of moisture!

Love appearance and they worked great at first, but it seems after using them for awhile the water absorbs and will not work. Also they still to the bottom of the cup and I have dropped them into ceramic floor tile and thankfully did not damage. Wish I could have continued to use but just don't work after time.

For years, I've used a coaster that just had condensation pool on it so I kept a folded paper towel on it. We've been having more people over so we needed more coasters. I read a lot of reviews. Some said the liquid didn't absorb in dark areas or on the metallic ink areas but there didn't appear an issue mentioned with these. I've been using them for a couple of weeks now and am kicking myself for all the years I kept a paper towel on the coaster. Got the dark brown and beige ones to go with my decor. Next time I'm in a mood to update my decor, I'll try one of the others.
