Burt's Bees Satin Lipstick, Doused Rose 3.4 g

Love this lipstick. It goes on well. Lips feel moist whilst wearing. Can be layered to get the depth of colour you prefer. Russet River is the colour of a fallen autumn leaf, a sort of browning gold. Stays on pretty well and no longer or shorter than top brands. A stain would stay on longer but is drying. Also, great price too when you consider the cost of lipsticks in high street stores.

Goes on like butter it's so smooth and the colour is an amazing match. You really don't need too much and it stays on your lips for a while protecting and looking lush! Love these lipsticks I don't use anything else now. Mainstream lipsticks damage my lips so I've thrown my really expensive stuff away because I just can't wear it but Burt's Bees is great for everyday and super nights out - love it!

I couldn't bear spending £25 for another good lipstick that I sampled, so I tried Burt's Bees instead. I bought two shades, Lily Lake and Doused Rose. Both are lovely on. These are not high impact colours, but more subtle. You can create a bit more intensity if you apply multiple coats. The wear is reasonably long lasting, a couple of hours for me. It feels nice on the lips, not too slippery and not too dry. It gives a satiny matte finish. For an all natural lipstick at less than £7, I will definitely buy again.

This lipstick is a nice colour, the light pink is quite nice for the summer. It doesn't dry out my lips which is great, but it doesn't give as much moisture as I would like and it doesn't last very long before needing a top up. Goes on smooth, not drying and a nice colour but not ideal for anyone who doesn't want to top it up a few times throughout the day.

Doused Rose. A nice quality product however this shade was much paler than I expected from the website photo. Rather than a rosy red it's more like a pale pink. It feels moisturing however transfers easily and doesn't last a long time.

This is a really beautiful colour. Reminds me of raspberries on my lips and they are a fall kind of lip colour. I don't really care for that really, as I'd still wear this for other seasons. This gives a similar look to Bobbi Brown's lip crush in Ruby and Cranberry, if you're wondering. If you like creamy lipsticks, this is it. It feels like a coloured lip balm! However, there will be issues of this lipstick feathering into the lines and that's one thing I don't like about it. But since I really like this colour and it's a way cheaper alternative to BB's lip crush (although those are fabulous too), I will overlook it!

Feels greasy and doesn't stay on shame as nice company.

I never wear bright lipstick as I have pink tones in my skin,I am a qualified beautician and have been in this profession for years now and would never use this on someone with my skin tone,but I can honestly say I bought this colour as I'm getting married and my husband to be loves red lipstick,and omg I'm in love.this lipstick is amazing for people with pink skintones as it has undertones of purple,it looks amazing on and I even had a drink five minutes after applying it and there was no lipstick on the glass,it lasts really well,it would 100% recommend

Lily Lake ist ein schöner Rosa-Ton der schon fast ins Pinke geht. Ich würde sagen es ist ein kühler Farbton. Dezent genug um alltagstauglich zu sein. Die Pflegewirkung ist auch gut, meine Lippen trocknen nicht aus und fühlen sich damit wohl. Natürlich hält er nicht ewig, aber für Naturkosmetik schon erstaunlich lange, ich muss nur nach dem Essen etwas nachlegen. Die Inhaltsstoffe sind auch in Ordnung (nach aktuellem Stand), auf jeden Fall besser als ein herkömmlicher Lippenstift. Ich bin rundum zufrieden.

Fin färg, håller läpparna mjuka.

渋くてお洒落な色味がとても素敵です! こういう色で綺麗な発色のものはあまり見かけない気がします。気に入ったので予備にもう一本購入しました。

Very pretty colour and feels and acts nourishing on the lips.

So hard to tell when buying on line what the color really will look like but I am pretty happy with this one. It is on the medium pink side and has no sparkle which is what I wanted. I do add a tad bit of lip shne over it but it is a very attractive medium pink tone that give life to your face and seems natural yet gives you that little extra color. I have been using lots of lip balms and decided to try a lipstick and BBs is highly recommend as a natural, non toxic, clean one and so I am going to stick with their brand since I am leaning towards healthier alternatives these days, especially something you put on your lips. THe only minus is figuring out what the color will be when you buy it on line.
