A very good and strong padlock

Padlock is sturdy and exactly the size I needed. However, I was unable to open the lock with the factory issued combination number given. Managed to unlock it eventually, actual combination was 10 digits out!

These are the best value padlocks I have found. They're so solid, I bought them for the garden sheds to replace the key ones since multiple people in the house use them. Being able to set the combination is a handy feature, I could set them to something all the users can remember. I think you would need a grinder or something to hack off that lock because the design is too secure for an opportunist. It's only been in use for a few months now and there is no sign of rust or weathering, I'll update the review if that changes, but so far it's weatherproof.

Master lock review As soon as I opened the package I felt it was a gimmick. It might deter criminal people with its appearance and appeal to those wanting a strong practical lock, but it’s probably the worst lock ever built for the user. I’ve designed and manufactured security devices so appreciate many aspects of security, therefore my opinion comes from experience. Firstly if a lock is awkward to use then you’ll either not use it or it’ll not work properly. Accessing the combination barrels to set the code is with great difficulty. Wet fingers can’t get a firm grip because of the recess and tight tolerances; even after removing the plastic trim. The barrels are extremely difficult to turn and accurately align. The mechanism is simply poor quality, shoddy and clunky. The casing invites access and is badly finished. The code setting key is like the lock casing, badly pressed metal and fiddly to insert properly. What happens when you can’t find the key; more junk? Other combination locks use built in mechanism’s which can’t be lost. I can’t comment on the strengths of the lock because I won’t use it; as a lock. From a distance it might deter some although others might want to test their skills; most combination locks are easy to open with practice. For what it cost it’s a time wasting device which should only be used on low value items. The longer a lock takes to bypass the better it’s security. Out of professional courtesy I won’t grade this lock There are plenty of combination locks for similar money that are vastly better quality, stronger and easier to use, I recommend you choose them.

Not as impressed as I hoped I would be, it is very secure and sturdy, however you have to be extremely accurate when putting the numbers in, they must be bang on in the middle of the dial, it's also quite difficult to see the numbers unless it is very bright, they are quite small and not very brightly marked, and it is very easy to make the mistake of looking at the back of the padlock rather than the front. We bought this for a shared entry system, and some of the residents complained that they had to go and get their reading glasses to open it, and others couldn't work it at all.

Seems very solid, it’s easy to use, very straightforward instructions, size is good, look good, I do believe that would be weatherproof, the time would show, it’s locking the garage door at the moment, does the job!

Great sturdy padlock that is very durable to the outside elements, but one major flaw: If you're using it alone, it's fine. But if multiple people need access, be warned—since the numbers are visible on both sides, it's easy to lock it back-to-front. This makes it very hard for the next person to enter the correct code (see pictures - same 4-digit code).

Absolute trash, numbers have become unreadable and the combination wheels are binding. Rust always showing , all thos after 1 month in use. Do not buy for outdoor use

Das Schloss sehr massiv und schwer. Das empfinde ich als gut und angenehm. Es hat jedoch einige Zeit gedauert bis ich verstanden habe wo der Zahlencode zu finden ist. Zusammen mit der stabilen Kette, die ich gekauft habe ein sehr sicherer Schutz.

Very solid, heavy duty lock. Comes with a key (don't loose it!) to reset the combo when you need to. Number dials are tough to turn, but I take that as a sign of it's robustnesss--if you have weak fingers, maybe not the lock you want.

Başarılı kilit, köy evinin bahçe kapısı için aldık. Sizi gerçekten korur. Ama amazonda 560 tl den girdi fiyatı iade ettim en son 360 tl ye aldım. Neredeyse yarı fiyata. Buna dikkat etmek lazım.
