Hello Brook, when twisting the pen where it says , it pushes the product up on whichever one you have clicked down .. but by meaning refill as in if finished w product in pen, you would probably have to buy a whole new pen 🙂.. but it seems like it will last awhile i will update review if needed or can .. lol
