A really excellent watch
A really excellent watch. The style cant be topped and the size is just perfect, even for someone with relatively small wrists like me. The fact that in addition to being automatic its also hand windable, has hacking, and of course displays the power reserve, for the price it is more than I could ask for. The accurasy is typical for the price, mine runs between 5-10 seconds fast each day with light use. The crystal on the other hand is a double edged sword. Being hesalite, on the one hand it is really easy to scratch. I accidentaly lightly bumped the edge of my watch against an edge and visible marks were made. On the other hand its really easy to get the marks off with polishers like Polywatch, brasso or even white toothpaste. I rubbed a bit of toothpaste on mine for less than a minute and the marks are completely gone. Its also an added bonus that they didnt cheap out on the strap. Its pretty good quality, and I can imagine it will last you a good 1-2 years at least. Ive also heard people complain about the noise the rotor makes, and I am happy to dispell the rumors. Of course it does make some audible winds when you shake it a bit, but nothing that stands out or will irritate you, especially if you are not actively trying to listen for it. All in all an excellent piece well worth the price. If you like the style of it and can appreciate the complications I would absolutely recommend a buy.

Lovely automatic watch at a sensible price
Lovely quality watch After spending a year researching and looking for a automatic watch that looked like a quality watch. But for sensible money under £200 I decided on this. And am very pleased I like it more than my previous watch which was a tag hauer. It comes in a nice storage box. And keeps good time. It has a lovely timeless style with the simple hands but not boring looking. I really like the extra dials for power reserve and 24 hours. The only slight minus with this watch is the glass is not glass but a very high quality form of plastic. and the rotor is a little noisey but I only noticed this when its quiet and its near my ear.

A great watch at a superb price
I've been in the market for a new watch for a while and from the moment I saw this Junkers model, I knew it was the one. The watch arrives simply, but securely packaged - not an issue as I'm not a fan of glitzy presentation boxes that just either get thrown away or sit in a cupboard. Overall impressions live up to the photographs with a good clear face, subtle design elements and top notch build quality. The leather strap and buckle seem like they'll last and the strap itself is starting to supple-up after a week of use. Given the low price of sub-£300 for an automatic, I can't fail to recommend this.

I really like this watch
I really like this watch. For the price it's a great value. Nice '40s style. I have no problem of the accuracy at all. Nice continuous 2nd hand movement. Only weird thing for me a german watch with a japanese (Miyota) automatic movement. Leather strap could be a bit better quality. Attached photos from my 6 months old watch with daily usage.

rattly and feels like a cheap watch
This watch is flimsy, rattly and feels like a cheap watch......Its a piece of crap! Dont buy the "Made in Germany" tagline.... Save your money and get a Seiko.....

Classy, reliable and accurate
I bought this watch as a birthday treat after considerable research into the manufacturer, product and other buyer reviews. I've been wearing it every other day for the best part of nine months now and have found it to keep extremely good time. I can see why some high-end watch-lovers might say the self-winding mechanism sounds a little 'cheap' as it spins, but this is not terribly fair as it's a fraction of the cost of the watches they are being compared to. It's a great-looking watch and don't get paranoid about the face getting scratched - if you're careful (i.e. don't go mountain-climbing or diving in it) it's resilient and definitely rain-proof. Regardless of where you buy it, it WILL come from Germany so be prepared for that!

Nice alternative to Junghans Max Bill
Looks good, though it doesn't attract as much attention as your neighbour's Panerai. Looks pretty similar to Junghans Max Bill though, but way cheaper. I replaced he standard black strap with a nice brown Hadley Roma strap, it looks really good now. My first watch only worked for one month before stopping. Was ticking with +12sec a day, which is quite good for a cheap. Amazon was quick to replace it. The second one was within +4 seconds for a while, unfortunately I dropped and had to pay to repair. The new movement was fit by the vendor (Pointec?) at £85, so now the watch exhibits +/- 0.5 (half!!!) a second per week, which is absolutely unbelievable. I actually had to turn the watch to see through the case if a Quarz movement was installed by any mistake. Nope, it's a mechanical/automatic watch with this unbelievable accuracy. Can't guarantee your watch will be that accurate, an accuracy within 10sec/day should not be a problem Nice watch after all.
