Good Life Verve Paleo Coffee 500g Wholebean Single Origin Specialty Arabica Bulletproof Coffee Beans Roasted to Order Great Taste Winner

I had been looking for some organic paleo coffee for a few weeks and had almost given up hope of ever finding any when Good Life Verve Certified Paleo organic coffee suddenly appeared on Amazon. I ordered it straight away, and I am so pleased I did. It comes beautifully packed, and on the packet it says 'ROASTED FOR SYLVIA 11TH NOVEMBER ' which made me feel very special! At the moment I only have a hand grinder so I am getting some exercise grinding the beans - it takes me about ten minutes to grind enough for a few days supply and my wrists are complaining a little so I think I may invest in an electric grinder! The coffee is superb, with wonderful aroma and flavour - it is described on the packet as 'Big body chocolate, rich, very light acidity on finish, rich dark and beautifully smooth' which is not an over-statement. I have no hesitation whatsoever in recommending these coffee beans.

Really nice tasting bean with a rich traditional coffee flavour. Pulls with a very thick crema. Took afew shots to perfect my grind size and tamp but great once I got it dialled in. I would say it is a little overpriced though (should be more like £15) and I probably won't buy this as my regular bean for that reason.

Ive left a good period of time before writing this review, to experience Good Life Coffee's customer service and response to my feedback. I bought this because it sounded great - lots of positive reviews - and one mentioned it was good for V60. It was a very special experience - personalised label was very cool, great smell, like the idea of how it was sourced etc - was very excited. These are big pros for buying this coffee. Via a Cafetiere, it is (as many people describe it) a nice smooth and warming drink. I have not tried it in an espresso machine, nor via aeropress or chemex - cant give any advice on those. First point: its not good for V60 - tastes of burnt wood via V60 method - but Bloom (related product) tastes *very good* via V60 - but like a 4* review below, the after taste is quite bitter. Ive been making coffee with V60 method for 6 months now - probably wont buy Bloom again though, because I'm tasting better coffee for V60 from other suppliers at less price. Customer service: I was very impressed with this. They asked to be contacted before reviewing on Amazon, so I told them that I thought the coffee was just OK, but was disappointed that I couldnt get any good flavour out of Verve with V60. They immediately gave me a full refund (which I did not expect) and suggested a better coffee for V60 (Bloom), and sent me a free bag of it (which again I did not expect). This was very impressive, and I expect their customer service technique is why theres very few negative reviews for this coffee. If i could seperate customer service and company quality, from reviewing this specific product, I would give the company and service 5*. But I think the current avg star rating for this coffee is too generous because of the customer service and personalised experience. Overall, I think if the ethical sourcing, paleo, bulletproof stuff is really important to you, this is a great buy and company to use as a supplier. Especially if you plan to use methods good for a darker roast. Buy Bloom for pour-over techniques. However, if we consider just taste, then it doesnt taste, to me, significantly better than 'good supermarket coffee'. Well - not significantly better enough to warrant 2x or 3x the price - pay that if you want to engage in the ethical sourcing etc. I hope this is a fair and useful review for people considering this product. Great customer service. Great personalised experience. Great sourcing of coffee. Have tasted better coffees (compared to Bloom) for pour-over techniques. Not sure I would pay this much again for Cafetiere method coffee (because I pay for expensive coffee for V60 method).

OK well I've been a "Bulletproof" type person the last 2 years and finding a clean coffee bean that does not need a Lotto win is not been easy. Until I found this fantastic coffee bean. Yes some may want it to taste like this or that but its the "clean bean" that matters. We live a Primal Blueprint/Paleo lifestyle and want the best we can find within the ability to be able to afford it. We have used MR DA's Bulletproof beans before and found them good but these are much better. Taste and the Keto effect is so good (12-14 hours a day with only one cup of this first thing everyday) and the service this company gives are just great. I will be buying again and if you want to taste coffee the way it is made in nature then this is how. If you want your Starbucks etc then why worry if its clean as you just killing yourself slowly. For those wanting a "clean living" life and an affordable clean coffee bean then this is it. We solute you GOOD LIFE keep up the great products and outstanding service. tasted really stale

Would not purchase again; Apparently my 'Paleo approved organik coffee was specially Roasted for me personally' or so it said on the label. Beneath this a list of 'BERGAMOT,LAVENDAR,with ELDERFLOWER & GOLDEN RASPBERRIES on a silver Tray' not sure where that list fitted in? Three HEAPED dessertspoons of the coffee produced one pleasant tasting cup of coffee

What a great coffee bean this is...You will not be disapointed..A company with a passion and says and delivers as it is described. This is honestly a very superior coffee both in terms of taste and feeling. I have been following Intermittent fasting over the past 6 months and usually start my day with a bulletproof coffee. I tried Verve beans last 4 days and feel awesome all day. I love this coffee and highly recommend for anyone. Disclosure: I come from Cauvery hills, India and I can confirm that the coffee aurora brings back my childhood memories vividly :) In regards to the quality, I can confirm that it is the highest you can get. (Hard to get this level of quality even in and around the hills). The additional promise by Good Life saying the beans are fair traded and bulletproof optimised makes me even happier every time I drink a cup of Joe. Thank you Good Life.
