Hi can this product be used to make a positive sculpture then have a mould made over it for bronze casting

I am a raw beginner with this product, but yes, as far as I know, you can make a mould over Monster Clay. I've made three sculptures with it so far, but my intent is to 3D scan them, not create moulds. I recommend the Shifflett Brothers sculpting forum on facebook for in-depth info on this and many other types of clay.

is this product waterproof/water resistant i.e. would it be safe to leave the item you've made in the garden over winter

It's wax based so it is waterproof, but leaving it outside in winter temperature would make it very brittle as the oil freezes. The ingredients in the clay are "safe" so they wouldn't do anything nasty to your garden, but this isn't a ceramic clay, it's a prototype sculpting medium, it's intended to make a silicone mould for casting plastic resin models; not a clay for making permanent decoration on it's own
