I've used it for a week or two and don't see any significant differences. My cars are always very meticulously maintained. The engine seems slightly silent, but only time will tell.

After a research, I buy this to use on my diesel car which is almost 10years old. The result is excellent and similar to the previous reviews, engine runs smoothly with low noise. You can feel the vehicle runs smoothly and quiet than before. I hope my engine can last for 10 more years.

I did some research and found this product , the car was due an oil change so I got this to see if it would help a advertised , yes it does , the engine makes less noise and I an getting more miles to the gallon from it as well . Will defiantly use this again when the time comes .

Added to a 95k mile plus engine. It has reduced cold start rattles so hopefully reducing further wear and tear.

Fantastic Find! I recently discovered this product and decided to try it in my 10-year-old Toyota Fortuner Diesel 3.0 D-4D Automatic—and I’m genuinely impressed! Within just three days, the engine felt smoother, quieter, and lighter to drive. Toyota diesel engines are famous for lasting forever, but that doesn’t mean we shouldn’t pamper them with a little extra care. This additive really helps bring back that “new-engine” feel. Here’s how I used it: 1. Start clean: Add an engine flush to your old oil and let the engine idle for about 10 minutes. Then drain the oil completely. (I used Liqui Moly Engine Flush.) 2. Add fresh oil: Pour in about half of your new oil first. (My Fortuner needs 6.9 litres, so I started with about 3 litres.) 3. Add Motor Protect: Pour the entire 500 ml can of Liqui Moly Motor Protect (1018) into the engine. 4. Top up: Add the remaining oil, start the engine, and let it idle for around 5 minutes. 5. Drive normally: Within 2–3 days, you’ll notice smoother performance. If your car is newer, the effect might be subtle—but the long-term protection is real. Tip: Note down your odometer reading when you add it. The label says protection lasts up to 50,000 km, but I recommend re-adding around 40,000 km for best results. Extra note: If your engine oil is already fresh, you can simply remove about 500 ml of it and replace that amount with Motor Protect as a top-up. ----- In case are confused between Cera Tech and this one, here is the best practice: Many people wonder if they can use both Liqui Moly Cera Tec (20002) and Motor Protect (1018) together. Here’s the short version: • Both are high-quality friction modifiers designed to reduce wear and improve smoothness. • Motor Protect uses organic friction modifiers and is great for long-term lubrication and protection of older engines. • Cera Tec contains micro-ceramic particles that bond to metal surfaces, providing an extra physical barrier against wear. You can technically use both, but it’s not necessary for most engines. Using both at once may slightly reduce the concentration of active ingredients per oil volume. Best advice: If you’ve already added Cera Tec recently, skip Motor Protect for now—wait until your next oil change. At that time, choose one of them based on your goal: • Use Cera Tec if you want ceramic protection and less mechanical wear. • Use Motor Protect if you prefer smoother, quieter running and strong chemical friction reduction. Both are excellent—just don’t mix them in the same oil change.

Great product. I have used it in my honda 2003 civic which has already done 250k. Engine feels more smooth and feels alive.

Aditivo antifriccionante de larga duración. lo usamos en viejo FORD FOCUS Ztec 2006 con mas de 376.xxx mil kms; el motor va mas suave, sin ruidos, mejoro el relanti; redujo un poco el consumo de gasolina. y desde hace ya un buen tiempo ya no hay fugas. ( volveria a comprarlo). el fabricante indica durabilidad de 50 mil kms. ** El aceite en el motor es Mobil Multigrado 15w40, un filtro de aceite Bosch. y a la fecha de hoy 17.02.2022 sin problemas, 0 drama. Aditivo totalmente sintético para aceite de motor. Reduce substancialmente el roce y el desgaste. Sus componentes anti-desgaste de alta presión forman una película muy fina sobre las partes deslizantes del motor. Esta película tiene propiedades elásticas y lubricantes, y es efectiva por al menos 50.000 km. Sus ventajas son las siguientes: • Reducción significativa en el desgaste • Mayor vida útil para el motor • Reduce el consumo de combustible y las emisiones de partículas contaminantes, gracias a su efecto conservador de la energía • Óptimo funcionamiento del motor.
