I have owned a lot of RC cars, helicopters, and planes. Is this going to have the bells and whistles of some of the big names out there? No. However, the value you get here is honestly impressive. I wanted a small truck that could be ran in smaller areas and heck, even inside of the house as long as you don't get carried away. It's plenty fast on 2S for most people, especially if you are a beginner with RC, or have a kid who's getting into RC. I love the fact it has a ~70% mode on the remote, and then flip the switch and you can get 100% power. The integrated headlight is actually useful as well! This little truck rips for what it is, and it doesn't feel like you're beating the heck out of it. I picked up a 3S battery as well, but I have not tried it yet because it has been fun enough with the included 2S batteries. I have jumped it, rolled it, flipped it, ran it into things, and nothing has broke. The fact you get two botties and some spare parts for the money is awesome. In all fairness, I did buy two of these trucks at different times. I am writing a review on my second purchase which I sent to a friend of mine. When she received it, she stated it didn't include the second 2S battery. After emailing Hyper Go through Amazon and explaining the situation, they emailed me back that they would sent her a 3000mah 2S battery free of charge, which she just received. So not only do you get a fun entry level brushless RC car that is litterally charge and go, but you also get customer service and support. I honestly couldn't believe the response I received from them and felt that not only should I write a review about the truck, but it's important to call out thier customer service as well, since that's often lacking in companies these days. Frickin’ get it get it GET IT! Holy moly THIS THING ROCKS! I haven’t been this excited about an RC car since my Windstreeker II from Radio Shack. It absolutely RIPS! Splurge for the Angry Snail battery upgrade, you won’t regret it! ~45 minute run time which is INSANE for an rc anything these days. After a full charge I took it on my walk with me and it lasted 40 minutes of continuous driving, covering OVER TWO MILES OF DISTANCE! If you don’t want to spend thousands on a TRAXXAS, this will ABSOLUTELY scratch that itch for 1/10th the price. I’m racing kids on e-bikes and smoking them with this bad boy. I love seeing their face after their mind is blown at the acceleration this puppy has. I’ve already ordered an additional $100+ of spare parts, tires, body shells, and clips because I’m going to play the HECK out of this! Ease of use: 9/10 I had to make only slight adjustments from their suggested ones. Weight: 10/10 Has a really good heftiness to it Size: 11/10 It is only slightly bigger than my other one but goes twice as fast and is four times as wicked cool. Traction: 20/10 You’re going to flip it. I promise. Use the lesser of the two shells initially until you get used to the controls. Then put the black and gold shell on with the skid plates and wing. And friggin’ Larry Enticer SEND IT!!! I’m over the Moon with the performance of this RC Car. Next I’m strapping a GoPro to it and taking it on an adventure!

After watching several video reviews I decided to purchase H16BM as a possible replacement for my Son's Latrax Teton that keeps breaking. The build quality is on point with my Traxxas Slash VXL. Lots of metal parts and electronics are cleanly installed. A lot of replacement parts are included with the truck as well which you do not find with the name brand kits. The instructions were very thorough and give assembly instructions for the entire kit as well as good breakdown of parts. I was able to do do a quick test once I installed the wheelie bar and the truck is very fast. 70% was fast, but still controllable. 100% power made the truck even faster, but it lost most of its ability to turn at speed. This is a very impressive truck at $150. The only negatives I ran into was that the radio is a bit cheap. I had to move the batteries around to get it turn on the first time. It is really not that far off quality-wise as compared to the Latrax radios. The other issue is that the bodies are thin and brittle. Thankfully they give you two, but I will try to find another 1/16 body to replace the stock ones as they will only take so many tumbles.

I bought this for my son for Christmas and am stunned at how fast this thing is. The car has great range, long life per charge, and is super easy to control. The car is agile and has great traction in dirt and grass. We absolutely love this car and for the money it is a great deal.

Great little racer for the price. Batteries don't last real long maybe 20 minutes or so but definitely fun to drive and pretty fast for a off brand RC.

My first RC car in decades. This thing is fast. I can't wait to get a 3s battery for it and see the difference. It's very well made comes with two body shells. Replacement parts are available. I've rolled it on concrete, crashed head on into a rock (not at full speed). I will be getting an upgrade once I can fine tune my driving skills. HYPER GO is the way to go if you want a reasonably priced FAST car. It's a good car for new/entry level drivers that want to go fast.

I played with the car for about an hour, practicing wheelies and soon, the wheelie bar looked crooked. Upon inspecting it, the part of bumper that holds wheelie bar, broke apart. Considering it was never hit or any true bashing, just wheelies, it broke. I ordered another and glued this one to hopefully use until new one gets here, so we will see how it goes. I was disappointed though that after reading what others have done and no damage, I do something mellow in comparison and this happens. The rest of the car has been doing great and no issues. I bought this car as it is higher than the drifting truck and so it can be ran in more places. I love the Hyper Go drifter, but it sits way too low and so you're limited on where you can play (broke the front bumper on that one trying to go up a driveway, but truck was too low to make it - my fault). I do have to use my yard blower to blow away little rocks in the road so that they don't damage bottom front of body anymore. This Hyper Go can go in more places and does well in the road and dirt, but haven't jumped or bashed yet, so can't say much more about it, but hoping the rest of the car holds up better than the bumper. I've still got high hopes for it. I'd recommend this Hyper Go H16BM for beginners, but it is fast and you can easily lose control, so do it in wide open area. I'd also recommend the Hyper Go drifter truck too as it is alot of fun in other ways. Hyper Go is good quality overall, but with some issues as described. BTW, I also own some 1/10 bashers too from a well known company, but these Hyper Go's are just fun off the tracks and made well. Note; The batteries supplied are pretty good, but odd shaped and not very standard. Have to charge them with USB cable provided, which is slow. There is a Hyper Go conversion battery holder you can buy to enable larger, normal 2S batteries but it's expensive, even though it comes with a battery. I find that the 2S Zeee soft pack 2200's fit well with the stock battery holder/clip with no play and you can get a two pack for cheaper than the conversion clip and one battery, plus gain alot longer play time.
