Just wanted to check if this is the UK specific model or sourced from elsewhere?

I have it installed, up and running in the UK. I am pleased with the outcome a 2013 TV upgraded with 2015 features. The model I purchased was the SEK-3500U/ZG.

Hello i have the hu-8500 and would like to know if i upgrade to this evolution kit will my tv be now capable of receiving 1gb (1000mbps) up/download

For the UK you need the u/xc. I bought mine at a fantastic price from Alza.co.UK. It is fantastic! However the picture was upside down and needed a call to Samsung Support to get them to remotely reverse the HV flip, but that is all it took. If your TV is compatible and you have high speed broadband and want to watch 4K uhd on YouTube Amazon etc. then Alza is the only place I know of guaranteed to sell you what you need.

Samsung advised me to buy the UK version of the SEK-3500U Model SEK-3500U/CX. Unfortunate this model is in very short supply. Probably not available early until next year.
