Works well, does exactly what it is supposed to do: diffuses the heat. I have a thin paella pan and my gas burner causes the rice to burn right in the center. This diffuser plate solved the issue in a very economical and easy way. P.S, you have to take the handle off and turn the plate up-side-down to place a large diameter pan on it.

Doesn't scratch my enamel, color doesn't turn, ndno sticking. It's super light weight, and very sturdy . A great value

I like it a lot. It diffuses direct heat so I don't burn sensitive food like eggs.

The Heat diffusers work well. I can finally get a true Low simmer when using a gas stove. I bought two of them. Very light weight and good value.

Put your pot on this and it’s not likely you’ll burn your food. The stove, church cooks way too hot. Have never figured out how to get the thing to cook with less heat. Bought two of these and have used them on stove at church. No food has been burned since we started using them. Yay!

Have a propane stove that just cannot get low enough to simmer without burning, especially tomato based sauces. This diffuser works great and it is nice to have the handle to move it easily. Good value for the price.

Using on gas,range. It is not effective for smaller pans, deflects the heat away from core. Good for large pot on prolonged simmer.
