HG Stove Glass Cleaner Spray – Effective Fireplace, Oven & Hearth Cleaner for Soot, Tar & Grease – 500ml

This stuff is brilliant, thick foam that just eats into tar and soot. No more scrubbing, no more risking scratched glass, no time wasted. Yes, it is a nasty chemical. yes wear gloves. yes do not spray too close to the glass or it will run off, and risk splashing back in your eyes. Simply spray on top to bottom, in horizontal motion, slowly and carefully from about 18 inches (45cm). I used masking tape on the bottom rope seal so the run off didn't soak into it. My glass was filthy and burnt on because I used some pine that wasn't totally seasoned, and nothing would shift it. I did a quick five minute spray on both sides of my double door stove, and I would say 98% was shifted no problem. Photos show before and after, I will revisit it next time to shift the final stubborn caked on tar.

Really good quality stove glass cleaner, works well on oven glass and on wood burner viewing glass. Thank you - not the cheapest, but certainly very effective.

This foaming spray is VERY effective at removing soot and tar from our wood-burner glass. Spray it on, leave it for 2 minutes, then wipe it off with a wet sponge. The glass is spotless and there’s no physical effort required. HOWEVER, it is messy. The foam quickly (within 30 seconds of spraying) runs down the glass and drips onto the floor. I put some old newspaper underneath in anticipation. If you’re prepared, it’s very good, but it’s still a bit of a faff.

I have used many stove glass cleaners and this by far works best with zero effort. Outstanding product to use.

This must be my 4th bottle & that's because it works really good no really hard work just spay and after a little while i just wipe it clean with kitchen paper & it's looking new again. I have tried only two other types that say they will clean the glass on my log burn BUT they don't really get it clean as this product does. In my opinion it's worth every penny, it works great, saves a lot of time in cleaning and makes my glass look bran new, so that night I light the log burner it's that great feeling of just watching those flames & knowing that it only took me 5 minutes out of my day just to clean.

Brilliant product that i have bought a few times but the spray is useless. It literally goes everywhere and needs to addressed quickly. Others have complained about this. As this is yet another one that doesn't spray properly, i'll buy something different next time which is a shame. The company need to read these reviews and act appropriately.

I am now on my second bottle of this product and at first i didn't think much of it but i had forgot to shake the bottle however i am on my second bottle now and it's just melting the soot ect NOTE don't spray the full door as it won't last very long I use a so called white magic sponge i think amazon sell them however i just put to small blobs on the sponge and it clears everything (( so we will all save money)) i also tried white vinegar it didn't work but if you follow what i have said yours's will last for ages good luck people

Hasn't not been the product I expected. It hasn't cleaned the stains from Oven hob, or what it advertises on the label stoves. Disappointed with purchase
