Flavour - Not an Issue
Not sure if it's a flavour related thing, but the chocolate is certainly palatable, could be stronger in taste,but certainly not unpleasant, I have 2 scoops in 500ml, my shaker has one of those wire ball things and after 30 second shaking, it's all but the odd smallest piece,mixed. Will buy again and certainly excellent value for money.

Overview
Flavour is very weak with this power. Could do with a more powerful flavour. Great price for the amount of protein you get, Needs thorough shake so there are no lumps of protein when you drink.

Massive Value for Money, Taste is Acceptable
I picked up this 4kg tub of the Salted Caramel "Serious Protein" primarily because of the price-per-serving ratio. With 133 servings listed on the tub, the value proposition is hard to ignore compared to smaller premium brands. After working my way through the first kilogram, here is my honest breakdown. The Packaging & Size First off, be warned: this tub is enormous. It barely fits in my standard kitchen cupboard. If you have limited storage, you might want to decant this into smaller containers. The lid seals well, which is crucial for a bulk buy this size to prevent the powder from clumping over the months it takes to finish. Flavor & Texture (Salted Caramel) With Water: It mixes relatively thinly. The flavor is sweet, perhaps a little artificial on the aftertaste, but drinkable. It doesn't have that thick, milkshake consistency when mixed with water alone. With Milk: This is where it shines. It becomes much creamier and the "salted" note comes through better, masking the artificial sweetener taste. Mixability: I use a standard shaker with a metal ball. It mixes about 90% well, but I do notice occasional small clumps if I don't shake it vigorously for a good 45 seconds. It's not the finest milled powder I've used, but acceptable for the price. Nutritional Value For a "Serious Protein" blend, the macros are solid for lean muscle support. It is low carb, which fits my current diet macros well. However, note that this is a soy/whey blend (check the ingredients label carefully), which explains the slightly different texture compared to 100% Whey Isolate.

Whey to go
Huge size for a decent price. Mixed ok as long as it's into a dry container, it did clump up when it wasn't dry. Tastes good and not powdery. Will try the other flavours over time, had strawberry which I liked.

Decent budget protein, with a few issues
Awful delivery, it was open and powder had gotten out, thankfully it was only a little. The likelihood of it coming broken is high (look at other reviews). Mixes sub-par, it clumps alot unless you shake it well and add some water after. Has a wheat/oat/soy flavour as well as grainy texture. Quite thick due to the ingredients. Nitrogen spiked so likely 20-23g of protein (glutamine peptide). Decent product, it's cheap. I'm not too bothered about the mixiability and texture. I wish they were more honest about the protein content, i'd still buy it if it was honest and lower. I've only ordered it once and the delivery alone is putting me off. Worth a try if you can afford to. It's decent if you're on a budget.

It's not winning awards, but it's not terrible and does the job. Excellent price per kg.
Got salted Caramel Flavour. Peoples negative reviews of this stuff is absolutely unjustified. It's really not bad considering its low sugar content, like at very worst I would rate the taste as Meh, smells OK but no it's not winning any awards. Don't like the taste or texture? Mix something with it which changes the taste and texture profile. Lumpy? Put water in first and shake it quickly, use a chopstick to unstick lumps stuck on sides or even use a whisk. It's really cost effective protein powder that serves its purpose and all protein powder tastes a bit rubbish.

Top Product
So it was with some trepidation that I ordered this protein after reading the negative comments made about it, but I wanted to find a protein powder at a better price and I have, hands down. Very large tub that was well packed and delivered with the usual Amazon speed. Paired it with a cheap shaker mixer cup { with metal spring ball } I placed cold water { 250mls } plus the ball and dumped 1/4 cup of the protein powder into it, a good shake produced a smooth drink with no lumps, grit or sludge { unlike some others I've used } the taste was good, { chocolate and peanut butter } and very easy to digest, its been over a week building up to two shakes a day { this helps with the dreaded protein wind } but you already know about that if your a regular protein drinker ! I have not tried the powder any other ways { milk etc } so this maybe where others are having trouble mixing it, its great simple way to take extra protein and at this price I will gladly re-order when needed, only negatives I can say is that mine didn't come with a scoop { no big deal } and that I had to find a home for the large tub { out of the dogs way }

Ingredients issues but not all bad as some reviews make out to be..
Chocolate peanut flavour.. Taken a chance as seen some bad reviews about not mixing well and flavours are yuck in taste,but my own experience is the taste 1 scoop with 250ml water isn't yuck,a weak tasting chocolate with a hint of peanut butter,maybe experiment and different outcome mixed with something else,but isn't horrible taste..Mixing with an electric shaker bottle,don't leave any lumps and mixes well all good so no problem here.. The ingredients as been some conflicting reviews i've looked on other sites also,that its different on the tub to the description online,that's a YES and NO answer,the tub ingredients says Milk Protein Concentrate,and the online details says Whey Protein Concentrate,Micellar Casein..(MPC) Milk Protein Concentrate,does contain Casein and Whey typical to that found in Milk,around 80% Casein,20% Whey..(WPC) Whey Protein Concentrate has been filtered to have a Protein of 70/80% with some fat and lactose remaining,its a faster digesting protein that has a slight advantage for a post workout recovery. Soy Protein Isolate is made by removing the fats and Carbohydrates from soy beans,results in a powder weight of at least 90% protein. It is a complete Protein containing all essential amino acids and still provides the building blocks for muscle repair and growth..Whey protein is slightly superior for muscles immediate post workout,but Soy Protein is still an effective option for building and maintaining muscle..So it isn't all alarm bells you've got bad protein powder as some reviews are saying,its more of a misunderstanding of the ingredients from some reviewers..I've got 4kg of the stuff and perfectly fine using the tub up..But yea maybe the Company could write a better detailed accurate description..
