I'm a photographer and usually shoot with flash only, but I've been getting more and more into using continuous lighting now that the LED light options are so good nowadays. These RGB LED light panels are brilliant. They're very bright, with fully adjustable dimming, and have amazing colours that can be configured to whatever hue you like. People shooting video will also be able to make better use of the various lighting effects that can be selected, although I have used these on a few photo shoots just to vary the colour output between shots. The provided diffusers are good, although I prefer to use my own diffuser panels, and the barndoors allow you to more precisely control the light direction whenever needed. The lights can all be controlled with the Neewer lighting app which will also control any other Neewer continuous LEDs that you might have. The app also allows you to configure and save specific lighting setups which you can revert to at any time. This is really useful if you have any specific lighting looks that you like to show off your style of photography. Since setting up my new home studio I've bought in a lot of Neewer kit and have been really impressed with all of it. The build quality is excellent. The only thing to bear in mind with these particular lights is that they're quite heavy (which is always a sign of quality in my book), but might put some buyers off if you need to travel long distances on foot with your kit. The supplied carrying bag is good too though.

Lights are unbeatable for their price point or at least when I got them. I've had these light for over 5 years now and they are still going strong, and they've come on almost every single Film Set or Shoot I've done. Features: Dimmable Bi-Colour LED Light with Hot-swappable Batteries and removable barn doors and comes with a Diffusion Panel. NO LED Screen or remote control features but not a deal-breaker by any means. These features can be found on their upgraded lights. Versatility: Highly adaptable and versatile, I've used them on small youtube video setups to major high-end Commercials and music videos. provide a great eye light for actors even in daylight. and slightly darker environments (indoors or woodlands) provide good strength bounce light. Can also be used as fill bouncing off or shinning directly and in indoor environments could be utilized as a backlight as well. double the lights up behind some diffusion cloth to get an even better result. Construction: Solid with Metal / Aluminum build, feels sturdy, Screw on the yoke, and for the stand are made of metal which is fantastic. And Light Weight. (Have suspended them on lighting poles 25 feet in the air the pole being held by hand) Packaging: Comes in a nicely Designed Box, and in their individual little padded zip-up bags, padding is soft foam. Nice carry handles on the bags, never had a problem with the bags. Padding is well done, these lights have taken a beating and they are still going strong. Value for Money: ***** ( 5 Stars) a great versatile light with strong output that fits almost any occasion. Would definitely recommend these lights.

These were bought to provide additional options when working in my studio. I’ve been a photographer for many years, like my peers I have started seeing a shift recently from the use of strobes/flash to continuous lights. It makes it easier for hobbyists and people new to industry to see what they are going to get before they hit that shutter button! I purchased this pack as I liked the thought of having two lights, plus tripods, accessories, etc, all in one kit for taking out in location. The rest of the time they would remain in my studio but still having the portability of being able to be mains or battery powered which is a nice bonus. The lights work with the Neewer mobile app and provide full control of CCT, RGB, special effects, etc. This makes these lights very versatile and can save a lot of time trying to colour match or change settings on the device directly. The build quality is excellent, with a solid metal frame and sturdy tripods. This is a huge step up from the early Neewer equipment from yesteryear - they are really making marked improvements in the value and quality of their equipment! I tested these lights with smoke shoots both as special effects with backlit colour, and as side lights to add tints to the smoke itself. In both cases they worked flawlessly! I then tried them with some creative portraits and again they delivered a good result based on their size and price. I will say they lack power overall, so are best used in low light scenarios when not much ambient light (preferably none!) is present. This is to be expected based on their price point, but is just something to be aware of, these are not going to replace your studio lighting video lights / continuous lights by any respect (I would recommend at least a 120W continuous light for this, if not higher based on how much light you need to produce) but they provide easy, adjustable, compact, and versatile lighting for a low cost! Look at the size of the space you are intending on lighting, and the amount of ambient light in your surroundings. If you are lighting a smaller space, looking for special effects with adding a splash of colour to a scene, or want to add colour to a home studio or streaming / youtube setup then these are great, and the Neewer RGB tubes would also work well. If however you’re wanting to light a larger area, or you need to work in an environment where it is less easy to control the light, then I’d recommend a higher power alternative in the 120w, 300w, and 500w range as these are still widely available with full RGB capabilities and not too much higher in cost such as the Neewer CB300C, or more expensive studio brands depending on your requirements!

Very high quality stand and light. The colours are great and the stand goes incredibly high. I downloaded the app so I could change the lights through Bluetooth. I just needed a other head light to film my content. I probably could of gone for a cheaper option but I believe this single purchase is a great investment and I probably wont need another light set up for many years to come. I highly recommend this light

These lights are good for their price. User friendly in design, they could be slightly stronger in terms of a little easy to knock over type of feeling to the stands, but if you are careful with them, they are definitely adaptable to so many uses. Have used them in the past for recording videos, or live streaming exercise classes, and they are very very good. Easy to put together, good case for holding them in. A very reliable and solid choice for anyone wanting beginner level to semi professional type lighting rig.

This kit contains a number of items so let's start with the lights themselves. They are well made and give a consistent bright light. They are easy to use and the app is clear. Pairing with the app is very simple and the QR link is included. Special effects are no better than OK. Barn doors are securely mounted. It runs from mains or NFP batteries (not included). They take 2 batteries per light and will not work if only one is fitted. The diffusion panel is cheap plastic and has marginal impact. This will not replace a diffuser so if you need to soften the light you will need to buy a separate diffuser. The stand is OK but at the bottom end of stand quality. They will hold the lights but at max height aren't very stable and you will probably want to use a weight bag on the bottom. The lights are quite light and so these stands are OK, but they won't hold heavier lights, so if you upgrade you will need new stands. The bag is a joke. The only good thing I can say is that it holds the equipment, but there is no padding or protection. It is a cheap heavy nylon carrying case. It will let you carry the lights and stands but won't protect from bumps or bangs. Summary - Studio lights are expensive, and the price for these is lower than some competitors but the peripherals let this set down

Very pricey.. but they are very good. Upgraded my very cheap setup as i photograph items for Ebay. Always struggled with getting the right lighting, these are decent but i still feel i need more lighting. Sturdy, and easy to control - I would recommend buying battery packs (havent done so yet but will do)
