WHY did I not buy this sooner?!? I like my coffee HOT while I work at my home desk. So, I either have to suck it down fast (before it gets cold) or constantly re-heat in the microwave. This works beautifully to keep my coffee pleasantly hot which allows me to slow-down and enjoy it more. I bought one for me and one for my son who works at a desk in his room as well. The multiple temp settings are great as the hottest is perfect for me and the middle setting is perfect for my son who doesn't like his coffee 'scalding' - as he puts it. We also love the weight sensor so that it's not actively heating when you remove the cup which means that it hopefully won't burn whoever or whatever touches it (we have multiple cats). Side notes: 1) When the coffee level gets low in your cup, I recommend turning the temp down if it will sit very long. 2) The bottom of the cup will be hot, so careful when picking up! 3) It also worked great as a warmer for a small bowl of queso. :D

This mug warmer is actually hot! I use a fully-flat (hand thrown) ceramic mug and at the 170F temp, it is almost too hot to drink - amazing! I usually set the warmer at 150 and it keeps my coffee/tea at a perfect drinkable temperature. I love that it automatically turns off so I don't have to worry about forgetting to turn it off. I also like the weight sensor that puts the heater in stand-by when the mug is not on the warmer. The cord length is also nice for reaching my outlet that a previous warmer couldn't reach without an extension cord. I have taken this mug warmer to work - now I have to buy one for home!

I gave this product as a gift for a coworker. She loves it and it works wonders. Would recommend for any office use, small enough so you can still work and not worry about knocking over your cup. The temperature settings were a bit confusing at first. You do need to make sure your drink is warm/hot before you place it on the warmer. IT DOES NOT HEAT UP IF THE DRINK IS SLIGHTLY COLD!!

I loved this product until it began to malfunction. After having it for about 2 1/2 years it started working inconsistently. They should make things to work longer than that!

This mug warmer works great. I have been using a warmer from Brookstone for the last 15 years, and while it worked, the coffee slowly cooled off. This warmer keeps the coffee HOT. Easy to use, change temp., and turn off when not in use. It does make a click noise when lifting the cup, but I don't mind as it lets me know the safety switch is working. I do wonder if it will keep working for the next 10 years. So, I don't depend on it when I leave the room. I always turn the warmer off with the on / off switch. It is big enough to hod most mugs. I would buy again if needed.

Great little Mug Warmer. I have a LUXU glass mug and it keeps my coffee warm as long as I need. The high temperature setting (176F) is a bit too hot for me, but 140F works well. Not sure what the difference is with the mug styles (glass, ceramic, metal). I guess it just comes down to the different temperature settings. I like the gravity switch. Haven't used the switch-off timer yet, but some people might find it useful. If you take off your cup and don't put it back within 10 minutes, the unit switches off itself. Cord length (5 ft) is sufficient for desktop applications. No issues so far and I would definitely recommend this Mug Warmer.
