Bought for a damp conservatory, was a bit doubtful, but after one day of use, there was about 15mm depth of water in the container.There is not one drop of condensation on the windows now. They used to be soaking, even with all the top windows cracked open for airing.They are now all shut.I'll give it a few more weeks, for the dwarf wall to dry out properly, then repaint and sort the mold on our blinds.There is some noise with it, a bit like a pc fan.I see people complaining about the plug getting hot. The plug is actually a transformer, that takes the volltage from 230V down to 9V, therefore gets a little warm.This makes it very cheap to run, 9V and 2.5A, means it only uses 22.5W. About 5p a day on my tariff.Cheaper than buying refills for the non-powered units.Happy days.

Very pleased with this. We have always had a damp problem in our box room. This creates damp on the walls and a slight musty smell. Since using this for the past month the smell has gone and the walls are noticeably drier. We used to have to keep wiping away mould etc once a week over the colder months but so far have not needed to. The chamber takes about 2 days or so to fill when on constantly so not much trouble and is easily emptied and reinstalled in under a minute. I have used this in my daughters room temporarily too (which is a much bigger room) and we are still impressed with the amount of moisture it collects. I find it works best with the door closed (it also won't work effectively with the window open so make sure to close windows too while the dehumidifier is on). It has a quiet hum while on (like a small fan) which my children think is great as helps them get to sleep! I expect I will invest in more of these for other rooms as works so well.

Nice and compact. The problem is that I leave it on all day and it only gets a few drops in the container. A bigger more powerful one collects pints in the same time.Update: Seller provide me with a refund in return for deleting or altering my review. The provided me with a replacement very quickly and they we happy to answer any questions so customer service was excellent. I've increased my review to 3 stars in light of their customer service.

Small thing and it does work, almost 400ml in 2 days. I bought it to use in a summer house and I don't need something stronger but it is only cheap and full filled it purpose.Almost silent when in operation, and sensor will stop the machine when tank is full. Five stars it there is an outlet in tank for continuous operation but I guess it is not meant to be plug in and forget.Some review suggested to use this in a area where moisture is continuously generated, e.g. Bathroom and showers, this won't cut it. You need a bigger and much more expensive machine

This item is great!I chose this particular item after looking at many items and reading many reviews.I must admit I didn't expect much and was even a little sceptical.The item does make some noise, which I find is noticeable more in the evening but only the same amount as a fan makes.This item is a godsend if you do not have a tumble dryer or airing cupboard. Clothes drying on airers dry a lot quicker with this item on.The air itself feels a lot fresher, cooler and not damp in any way.It is an extremely efficient device and has a lot of power for its size.I am amazed at the amount of water the item collects on each use and plan to purchase a couple more.

I just got it yesterday. The delivery was quick. Can’t wait to try because everyone review was good . I straight away open and try it in my small little room . I on and left it in my small room and close the door. It did collect the water honestly . My window was not much watery . But very noisy not quiet at all . I open from 5 pm until 2 am at night . I can see the water was collected . But really noisy not like the pc fan sound . It was too noisy until I get up and off it . Some reviewers said was barely can hear . But mine was too noisy until I wake up . I really like it because it did collothe water . Just the noisy wake me up at night . This maybe suitable to put at living room but not the bed room . I won’t recommend to anyone who think wanna to put at the bedroom .

Bought one and worked fine. So well in fact that bought three more. Two of these three developed faults in the next few months, outside the returns periods. So, I am stuck with two of four items which have faults, specifically one developed water leakage and the other stopped working properly. As an honest assessment, I would have to say that this is a good product but you need to be careful because it can develop faults and returning them for repair is a nightmare, which Amazon's return and refund policy is not very useful to say the least. Will be thinking again Amazon!

Great product. Massive upgrade from the static tablet based dehumids. Good customer service from 1byone. The unit is pretty quiet but obviously a spinning fan is louder than a static tablet so we turn off at night when it's in the bedroom. Easy to throw the collected water away. Best thing is...no need for expensive replacement tablets and WHEN you knock the thing over the carpet doesn't get saturated with sticky blue liquid :-) (already knocked ot over lol). Damp room? Get one of these.
