2 days from dark dingy green to crystal clear
Ok this is my first review in a long time and I had to write it as this liquid gave stunning amazing results. I wished I took before and after pics but after I tried a few products wich really didn't work even after buying a second filter I didn't expect this to do anything new. Before the product went in my tank was very green with algae to the point you could not see anything, the front glass was clear but the water inside was very green or like pea soup and my tank was ugly and frasting to look at, fish seemed happy though. We have a 250L tank, lots of live plants and around 50 tropical fish and 8 shrimp. When the product arrived the measurements went that clear on how much to put in and how often to use it, so at first we used 30ml usually for 250L tanks and the results were disappointing it only lightly started to clear, so I applied the product 3 x a day and used the entire bottle in 2 days. This morning I woke came downstairs and as you can see by the pic my tank is clear and crystal. I'm stunned, amazed and so pleased with the results. Great product. It didn't harm fish plants or shrimp. I do water changes every week, I think it happened because I over fed the fish algae pellets. Highly recommended and would buy again, don't be afraid to go over the top with application.

Great short term solution but…
Acts fast with clear results but a short term fix? Which can get costly if multiple: ongoing treatments required and it stains filter sponges and the internal tank trim. Used this treatment 3 times in 3 months for a 220 litre tropical tank. Works quickly but only lasts for a week to 10 days, that’s inclusive of the with daily filter cleans and filter wool changes. The bloom kept coming back. Even with a 60% water change and treatment, and the daily filter clean & wool change routine, the bloom was back. The only organic matter in the tank was the fish - no stones or plants. Just a bubble blower. So whatever it was, it was in the water. This Green Away is a short term fix but if the problem persists, strongly recommend investing in a canister filter and UV clarifier that attached to the filter outlet (also purchased on Amazon). It’s been the only thing that has resolved the issue for my tank and with minimal effort beyond the usual maintenance routine. No need for additional treatment as the UV clarifier kills whatever the organic bloom matter is in the water.

Does what it claims
Was sceptical using a chemical treatment but am very pleased I did. Used on my planted tank and it worked perfectly. Cleared up in two days. Plants still look good. Would highly recommend 💯

Amazing product!
I was a little sceptical that this product would work as my tank was SO green - couldn't see through it at all. After adding the product the water turned a brownish colour, but then after an hour or so began to clear. (2nd photo taken after an hour - it did then actually go clearer than this) I was amazed. It clumps the green together so it is still sat in your tank, but the day after I temporarily put the fish in a bucket and drained all the water and then replaced it sieving it through a pair of tights!! (I didn't want to do any water changes at this point as this was a fairly new tank and had just got over a boom) . This seemed to do the trick . 5 days later, the water just started to turn again, so I did a second application. We're now over a week since then and my water is still crystal clear. Can't recommend this product enough!!

Worked perfectly for me!
I was struggling with the dreaded ‘pea soup’ algae bloom water for weeks, really struggling to understand how to fix it. Tried different levels of water changes as well as a different algae management treatment and had zero results. I was concerned with the mixed reviews on this product but thought I would give it a try as it was a very good price. Used once, as directed and watched for about half an hour to make sure my fish were ok and initially the water started to go brown rather than the green I was used to. I didn’t hold out much hope so left the room for an hour or so, only to come back to a cloudy, but vastly better looking tank! The treatment continued to clear my water over the next 24 hours or so and honestly, my tank is as clear at the day I set it up!! On my experience alone I cannot recommend this product enough. Almost a week later and the water still looks fantastic

Killed 11 of my 25 fish within 12 hours
I added at around 9pm at night and at 9 am the next day, I thought 'wow it worked' as in addition to a UV steralysing filter I put in 2 days before it had clearer up my slightly green water which had been a problem for 3/4 weeks to really clear again. Then on closer inspection I noticed I couldn't see my rummynose tetras which are always going back and 4th, I opened my tank lid to find lots of dead fish bloated floating at the top. Then most of the rummynose tetras dead on the bottom. I had in the tank 2 guppys, 4 platys, 7 rummynose tetra, 5 ember tetra, 6 corydoras and 1 bristlenose pleco. It killed the 2 guppys, 1 of the platys, and all 7 of the rummynose tetras. It says on it safe for fish and bacteria but it is clearly not. I have had to do a 90% waterchange to remove it as my other 3 platys were also not acting themselves and were mostly sitting on the bottom, its been 4 hours and they still don't seem right. So I can for sure say this product is devastating to Platys/Guppys and Rummynose Tetras.
