Beautiful Quality Brushes - Also great for Oil Painting too!
Great Quality for fine line work, I know they say "watercolour brushes" but I use them for Oils and they are great for the fine detail or line work. I have sizes 000, 00, 0, 1, 2 & 3. and i am very happy with them I use them all for Oil painting and love using them along side my Escoda brushes. Highly recommended the don't shed hair and they hold their shape well even after may uses and washes (Even after Oil and Turpentine is used) and I am sure would be just as lovely for watercolorists too.

Excellent brushes for war gamers
Bought this and a number 1 for painting Warmachine/Warhammer models, what a difference they make. I'd been having trouble getting brushes to last more than a couple of weeks and sometimes only days (games workshop) and was recommended the series 7. The quality of my painting has improved significantly and i put this down to the excellent tips on these brushes and the flow of paint of them. Highly recommended, especially with some masters brush preserver to keep them in top shape.

Amazing brush.
Beautiful if not a little pricey.

Fantastic Brushes if you Get a Well Made One
These brushes are impressive and keep their points well, but the quality control, as at least one other reviewer has mentioned, is a bit hit and miss. The brushes that arrive with a decent point tend to stay that way, but the ones that don't tend to immediately fishtail and lose their points rapidly. I'll probably stick with these brushes, but in future I'd send them back if they don't have a good point upon unpackaging, rather than struggling along trying to keep a good tip.

Poor quality
I've heard a lot of good things about W&N series 7 brushes so bought two, size 0 and size 2, for painting miniatures. I already have a Raphael 8404 size two that I love. The W&N size 2 was... okay. After cleaning on arrival with brush soap it formed a point with a few stray hairs, not great, but okay. The size 0 however was a mess. The brush was gummed up and gross on arrival as though it had been used and dipped in glue or something, and after cleaning with brush soap would not form a point... a split and broken mess as though it had been used and abused over months is how I'd best describe it. The Raphael however... is a stunning brush. I will not be buying any W&N series 7 brushes after this as the quality obvious is is just not there. SHAME!

Very nice for painting, well worth the cost
These brushes are famous for a reason, and they feel great in the hand with a shiny but non-slip handle coating. I use these for miniatures painting and the flow control of the paint from them is unrivalled. If you're looking to buy some for painting miniatures, the size 0 is probably the most useful, followed by a 000. A #2 is the largest brush you would use regularly (it is quite big compared to a plastic model). Highly worth the money!

Quality Brush; a delight to use.
Fantastic. Could not believe the difference between using this Sable brush and other synthetic brushes. The paint flows so much better and the point stays and does not become frayed as the synthetic brushes are prone to do.

I received a brush with a completely split tip, from which the protective cap had been removed. Then upon requesting replacement, I get one with the cap forced onto the brush so tightly it must have damaged the ferule because this brush was also no good. Then upon sending the second brush back, I still haven't received a refund after 16 days. There are plenty of other quality brushes you can buy. So save yourself a lot of time and disappointment and get one of those.

these brushes are amazing. You don’t use them with contrast or speed paint just so you know, but the amount of control you have with it is amazing. How it held paint in the bristles and with the even flow with every brushstroke, it was just amazing to work with with them. The synthetic brushes are still good but everything I tried doing with the Windsor and Newton brushes was so much easier and came out way better
