Pentatonix now on Sony Music: with its signature, the US A Capella sensation, which was heavily promoted by all major labels, recently sealed a long-term collaboration with RCA Records. The starting signal for their sensational career was given for Mitch Grassi (Countertenor), Scott Hoying (baritone), Avriel Kaplan (bass), Kirstie Maldonado (mezzo-soprano) and Kevin K.O. James Olusola (Beatboxing) in November 2011, when they won the 3rd season of the NBC show The Sing-Off. Since then, the band has provided hundreds of millions of Youtube views with stunning edits of great pop classics and fantastic original compositions (see below for details), their previous releases together sold more than half a million copies, made its way into the top ten of the US Billboard charts and the band filled Concert halls around the world to the last place. On September 19, 2014, PTX finally released the band's first full-length album in Germany, which includes spectacular interpretations of contemporary hits such as Macklemore's Can't Hold Us, Lord Royals and goties Somebody That I Used To Know, as well as the legendary Daft Punk Medley Daft Punk Punk and four pieces of its own. A first foretaste is now a nine-piece album sampler featuring the fantastic pentatonix version of the Ray Charles hit The Road Jack (from 1961). Attention: from mid-September, the band will be featured and heard in an extensive TV campaign on ProSieben/SAT1. Towards the end of the year, the show will be on the programme in a major Saturday evening TV show. In addition to their live shows, the band's own YouTube channel is the biggest audience or listener magnet: more than 6 million subscribers and 540 Millions of views are the more than impressive figures of the band's online audiovisual presence. The most popular clips include the unique performance by Goties Somebody That I Used To Know (29 million views) and Lord's Royals (38 million views), as well as the incomparable Evolution Of Music, which takes fans on a 36-song journey through music history in just four minutes (more than 43 million views) ). Or the seven-song medley Daft Punk (more than 82 million views), which already recorded almost twenty million views in the first three weeks.

Good, but over done in places.
Overall, a very good album. In places however, the vocals get a little messy as they try too hard to fill the spaces which in my opinion, would be better left.
