Such a great addition to any office. You just never know when you're going to need to stamp a date on a document, or a letter (to mark the day you received it, as opposed to the date on the letter). The Trodat day stamp is perfect; works well and does the job. I love the fact that you have the full year - so 2016, as opposed to '16. The stamped date is also very clear and easy to read - no smudges or blurred ink. The date itself is easy enough to change, it took me a little fiddling in the beginning, but now it's become effortless. No ink all over my hands after changing the date either! It should be noted that the ink is BLACK and not red, as the product description states. Easy enough to replace though, if you wanted red ink, you could purchase a red stamp pad. Trodat Swop Pads 6/4911 Replacement Ink Pads - Red (Pack of 2) £5.19 for a pack of two! Otherwise, if you're happy to stick with the black ink, it's even cheaper! £4.39 for a pack of two! Such a bargain. The stamp itself is very well priced, at only £7.08! Other date stamps I have seen in Ryman's are far more expensive, as are their replacement ink pads. The stamp is dated from 2014 until 2025, so you have a stamp for the next 9 years. It's also made from 70% recycled plastic, and if you care about the environment like I do, it's another great reason to buy this stamp. If you're looking for an office stamp that works well, with ink pads that are affordable - then I highly recommend this one!

Little while to decipher workings - watch out for black ink staining fingers ! Excellent once sussed out changing.

Great little stamp. For those who are complaining about loading the ink it really is very very simple. Remove the plastic cover from the ink pad (which is separate in the box). Then with the stamp facing towards you (logo on stamp facing you), simply slide the ink pad into the slot above the number/date wheel with the ink pad facing down. As you push it home, 2 little plastic pieces will snap off the ink pad which is correct and means it’s properly clicked in. I had read comments from people saying they got covered in ink etc but honestly it’s easy as pie. Just take your time to work out which way round the ink pad slides in. The function of it is great and it stamps really nice and clearly. I’m going to order another one.

Cheap and does the job. Ink installation is pretty logical without instruction. Whip the top off, slot it in, ink facing down, voila. I read complaints about this but it’s probably down to IQ. The only minor is that you might get an inky thumb if changing the dates more than once during use but a few hand washes and it disappears.

I have found this really useful and time-saving as my job means writing the date quite a lot (and even after I've written it several times I still find it hard to remember the date - more time saved as I don't have to rack my brains for it!) It is very easy to change the date, and has been a great purchase. I would buy again if I ever needed another.

Firstly, there is no cartridge installation manual comes with it. There is only a picture on the outside package showing how to install the cartridge which is very misleading as the cover of the cartridge needs to be removed before installation, this is not showed or mentioned in anyway. Also there are 2 small clips like holders on the sides of the carriage will fall off/break it off after the carriage is almost fully inserted, however this again is not mentioned or picture has not showed. In addition, picture mislead set/adjust dates as the dates/numbers belt should be horizontal, not vertical as showed in picture on the package. Overall I feel the product has not reflected the price.

der 4820-datumsstempel hat eine gute qualität, mein letzter stempel diesel art hat lange zeit gute dienst geleistet. der neue stempel hat den kleinen schönheitsfehler, daß die monate auf englisch (mar, may, oct, dec) angegeben sind, deshalb ein punkt abzug. schnelle lieferung!

El fechador no cumplió las expectativas deseadas. Al recibir el fechador no venia tal y como describía en la página web de Amazon, me vino en otro idioma. A la hora de tramitar la devolución al ser una empresa externa a Amazon tuve muchos problemas en tener un contacto fluido con la empresa de este articulo. Ya que o me contestaban en otro idioma, o ponían pegas para la devolución de este. Finalmente tuve que quedarme con el fechador erróneo y Amazon me devolvió el importe. Gracias a Amazon me ayudaron a poder solucionar el problema con mas rapidez.

Commande arrivée à la date indiquée. Je suis très contente d'avoir retrouvé ce modèle, car il me restait des cartouches d'un ancien encreur que j'ai retrouvé et qui était périmé (2014). En revanche, si l'on ne connaît pas trop le maniement de l'encreur, l'explication sur la boîte est un peu succincte !! Je n'ai pas fait attention...les mois sont en anglais !
