Product seems very good delivery took a long time

This item arrived quickly; it was surprising by its size and was put through the letterbox. We had little confidence it would make significant difference to the pond when the water was already a gloomy shade of black, and signs were apparent that the sludge was already breaking up. The instructions were a little confusing but this was not helped by our spectacular ability to overlook the most obvious requirement - to dissolve the first two tablets in pond water. We dissolved them in tap water! The third dissolved tablet we forgot about and promptly watered the garden with it. Oh dear, not much hope for good results at all. We also put one of those barley straw pouches in the water at the same time. Yet in a couple of weeks the look of the pond was transformed. We cleaned the pump filter (which was full of sludge) maybe four times, but the water, while not devoid of bits that can be churned up, is clear down several inches. Previously, fish could only be seen when feeding on the surface. The product seems expensive for not much in the container, but we would highly recommend as extremely effective.

At first you will wonder if you wasted your money, but this product does work. I started my application 6 weeks ago & only just started seeing the results.

We have a 2,800 litre pond which is stocked with goldfish. It has never been emptied since we filled it 7 years ago! We now have a small in-pond filter with UV and this has killed off a lot of algae, making the pond water somewhat clearer. We use Sludge Klear to lift dead leaves and remove dead algae. It clumps together the algae in large ‘bergs’, also bringing semi rotted leaves to the surface. You can then lift these off with a fine mesh net (which dead algae doesn’t fall through if you remove it carefully). Initially the water is cloudier but after a few days (and remival of a few bergs, the water clears a bit. We are doing this weekly at present, in the expectation that the water will gradually clear. This is not a product that achieves a fast result but neither does it damage fish (or any other creature’s) health.

pretty sure it worked but then the pond filters kept getting blocked so wether it actually broke down the sludge is hard to tell

Have to say even though I noted some of the negative reviews I was willing to give it a go based on the positive ones. Initially I followed the advice on the packet and bought the Envii pond balancing stuff (or whatever it was called) since I felt it was only fair to make sure the water was correct before adding the bacterial treatment. You will see from my review of that product that I almost lost the entire contents of my pond due to that clogging the filter. So I refilled the pond left it to ensure the chlorine had gone and then added this as per instructions, four days later I added the second dose and the again for the final dose. Now I was a microbiologist in a former career so I knew I had to give the bacteria time to grow especially since it hasn't always been that warm since adding them, that said it has had ZERO impact on the clarity of my pond. I'm not using the filter (but the instructions say I don't have to) simply because I don't want a repeat of the previous episode but it is now several months since I treated the pond and it hasn't made one iota of difference. Expensive waste of time!

Schade das es nicht mehr Lieferbar ist! War sehr gut

Voor een vijver van 30.000 liter en om zeker te zijn dat ik de bodem terug zou zien, heb ik de gehele verpakking opgelost volgens de gebruiksaanwijzing. Zelfs meer dan twee uur laten staan alvorens toe te voegen aan de vijver. Echter zonder resultaat. Ik vermoed dat er bij mij gewoonweg teveel slib in de vijver aanwezig is en dat ook nog is een natuur filter heb. Dat is dan ook waarom ik 3 sterren geef. Ik kan niet zeggen of het nu een top product is of niet omdat ik gewoon weg niet weet bij wie het probleem ligt.

Funciona bastante bien en la eliminación de lodo. Pero no hace milagros si alguien se lo espera.
