Great tool
How am I 42 and I’ve never used one of these? Did a normally 3 hour job in 30 mins. Removed stickers on the rear, front window and side windows. Wiped off the residue on glass with brake cleaner and on paint with contact cleaner. Some tips, let the wheel do the work and don’t go too fast. Cover up and rubber seals nearby as it will score them. Great little tool and not a bad price either.

WORKS ON BOAT HULLS!
After buying a fibreglass boat that had a terrible name I deliberated for months over how to get rid of the decals. Most traditional methods seemed a pain and the stickers were baked on so I couldn't pick them off. My boat has a white GRP hull and I was really worried about marking it. Everyone I asked told me the best way to do it was with a hair dryer and scraper (but with the boat on a mooring and no power nearby I couldn't get a hair dryer plugged in close enough). I read about the Whizzy Wheel a while back and kept putting the job off as I was concerned there wasn't much evidence of it working safely on boat hulls (mostly cars). Eventually I cracked, bought a Whizzy Wheel, stuck it on a battery drill and sat in the dinghy alongside. Well, I can confirm to all boat owners that it works brilliantly. I have removed the names quickly and easily with virtually no residue left. Just needs a wipe with degreaser and a polish afterwards. If the names have been there for ages you may get a slight faded outline but its not that noticeable (far less than a bad name!) For some reason the manufacturers don't say much about boats and go on about car bodywork but this does work well on fibreglass hulls if you are careful. Make sure the surfaces are dry otherwise there's not enough friction and keep it moving to avoid too much heat build up. Just take it easy with medium pressure and the wheel flat against the surface. I was quite cautious so started the drill from very slow, just accelerating until the wheel started nibbling away the stickers. After a minute you find the best combo of pressure and speed. Don't forget to direct the rotation of the wheel against the edge of the stickers like you would picking it off with a fingernail. 10/10 (on white GRP - not tried on other colours but I think you would be ok) Just don't forget to rename your boat properly afterwards to avoid bad luck, lots of advice out there on the correct ceremony :)

works well. a bit pricey
i used it to removed some vinyl wrap residue on my car. looks really well. tried it initially when the car was wet due to rain but it made adhesive scattered. i would suggest to use it on dry weather. great item but a bit pricey

Effective and quick
Brilliant it. Removed 25 year old decals easily, I had tried two other makes which didn’t work very well so was over the moon with this one

Don’t eat it. It’s not real caramel ffs
It gets stuff off vans. It’s good and smells like burning caramel mixed with a tyre fire. What’s not to like

Doesn't Work Well
Doesn't work well. Sticky residue cannot be rubbed off easily.

E' un ottimo prodotto ma mancano istruzioni sufficienti, quindi c'è il rischio che assieme all'adesivo rimuova la vernice sottostante. Avevo inteso ci fosse un manuale assieme ma ho ricevuto solo la rotella.

So like an IDIOT, with no research I took to conventional decal removal by adding heat. The 20 year old decals on my truck would not peel off at all. They would not scrape off and no chemical solvent was safe for the paint. Further there was some old double sided glue for trim. Trim came off glue tape stayed. Frustrated I started sanding it all off. Worst choice: it trashed my paint. Like sooo dumb. Sometime later I did some more research and found this product. I seen someone on YT had it and thought Id try it. Man, I wish i had this from the start. It took offer the decals and the glue tape. It took a lot of work and a couple of these wheels but an amazing finish. It did not damage my paint at all. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED for stuck on adhesives. If you got a big job, buy 2 wheels.
