Excellent piece of kit. Well worth the money.

Checked this set for square and they were all perfect. Can't complain at all at this price. Well worth buying if you need a square. In case you don't know, easiest way to check they're square is to mark a line on something, flip the square around and then mark another line by the side of the first. If the two lines are parallel you're good to go.

Nice set of squares, I have tested them against a square edge (using the draw a line and flip them over method) and they are square. They seem pretty robust and don't seem to flex. I'll have to see how they stand up to wear a tear over time. The box is nice but the rubber insert has slightly shrunk/come unglued but still works fine. Overall a nice set of squares for what I want (woodworking).

Good accurate quality

I was attracted to this set of four try-squares by the claim that they were hardened and conformed to workshop BS939 Grade B accuracy - better than I need but that's the way I like it - and they came in a box. Considerable effort is taken to ensure the squares are rust-free when you receive them: the outer cardboard box has a plastic film on its inner surface; the wooden box is wrapped in a polythene bag; each square is individually sealed inside a polythene bag; and finally the squares are coated in light oil. Consequently, there wasn't any rust! In use however, the ground surfaces will be a rust magnet so I'll lightly coat them with Boeshield T-9. The squares are nicely finished and each has a small slot cut in the stock on the inside corner to accept any burr on the inspected item. The squares rest in channels cut in a neoprene-like material, and there is a lightweight sheet of foam loose above them beneath the box lid. I am not confident the box would survive being dropped on the floor. Be aware that the dimension of each square refers to the lower edge of the blade, running from the inside corner. So the 2" square's blade is actually 3" long. An excellent set for precise woodworkers; I can't speak for engineers.

I was a little hesitant to purchase as some reviews had poor build quality and were not square, however the squares I received were very accurate and perfectly meet my needs for woodworking

I tend to use the largest and smallest squares most - the larger for woodword, and the smallest is ideal for setting up and checking that my mitre saw and band saw blades are at the right angle. All are great for ensuring joints are square. Well worth the purchase.

Use these in woodworking and for setting up power saws etc for accurate cutting. They are all square which is the main thing as not all squares are made equal..! The box that they come in is a piece of junk. Cheaply made and the insert that holds the squares is just bad. It doesnt fit the box and pieces of the foam insert are just not glued down to the base section properly. The fastening clasp is just naff. If you want a proper presentation box look elsewhere. A shame as the squares are well made.

Blev överraskat förvånad av kvaliteten. Har länge letat vinklar med god precision som inte kostar skjortan. Håller på med finsnickeri på hobbynivå och dessa har vad jag kan se en alldeles utmärkt precision. Lådan kändes iofs lite billig men det saknar betydelse så länge vinklarna går att lita på. Rekommenderas varmt.

I purchased this set of squares as I needed a couple of small sizes to use in tight location where a larger square wont fit. It was good value and the quality and accuracy is fine for my purpose. Handy to have them all in a nice storage box, keeps them clean and organized.

it's not square and the 75mm square is twisted Also the foam in the box is cut incredibly poorly. Don't buy it, I'm returning mine.

Je cherchais depuis longtemps un bon rapport qualité/prix pour des équerres de mécanicien afin de reporter des angles sur des pièces en bois. Ces petits équerres massifs et bien qualibrés me satisfont complètement. Emballés individuellement dans des sachets en plastique, dans une boîte en bois avec des logements en mousse, ils sont arrivés en parfait état. Il ne restait plus qu'à les nettoyer car ils surnageait dans de l'huile probablement chinoise ! Pas de risque ainsi de corrosion par les embruns marins et la vie en containers !
