Having grown up on buckwheat for breakfast, I was excited to try this product, mostly to save some time in the morning preparing it. I’m really pleased with how quickly it cooks compared to whole buckwheat grains, and I quite like the ‘porridge’ like texture! I personally cook this stove top with bone broth and serve with poached or soft boiled eggs for a savoury breakfast option. I find the flavour feels a bit more “bland” compared to whole buckwheat groats, which I don’t mind at all. I think it’d make a really alternative for oats for the people who are curious to try different grains without them being too nutty in flavour. I like that it’s easy to digest and doesn’t leave me bloated compared to other wheat breakfast options, even if I’m not a coeliac.

Try it with a knob of butter, some brown sugar and a little milk and/or cream. Sensational!

Have eaten like 6 bags of this in the last couple months. This stuff is good and healthy. Just slap some maple syrup on this bad boy, and through some collagen or protein in when making and it is phenomenal. I️ can't cook to save my life, but I️ can make this it's so easy. Boil water, throw this in, stir, and chow down. Gluten free too.
