Everbuild Everflex AC50 Contract Acoustic Sealant and Adhesive, White, 900 ml

Used This When I Installed Some Extra Sound Proofing To Deaden The Sound Of The Neighbours Bloody Dogs Barking lol It Helped A Little And I Would Recommend It. Just Beware That You Will Need The Correct Applicator Which Is Bigger Than The Standard Size!!

If you are working BIG ( full sheets of 2400x1220 plasterboard ) Do not bother with the 300ml small tubes. you will not get a thick enough 'Bead' . Use the 900ml. Get plenty. Slap it on. Don't be shy. Everbuild also do a 900ml Gun for around £13 which is very robust. Excellent products.

This is a great product for the price, an "elastic glue", you can check the green glue is pretty expensive, not this everbuild AC50 product. It doesnt get a 5 star evaluation, because as some reviewers said, the container will fail. I could use it without failing for a while but when it got near water the cardboard dampned and failed. No big problem just cut the cointainer i still thinks its a great product for the price

Needed a really strong adhesive and sealant to complete my soundproofing This sealant was used to secure acoustic plasterboards to the wall Then finally seal any gaps between the wall and skirting board Very easy to use , did the job very efficiently Would highly recommend this product Really good to have an adhesive and sealant all in one This tube is a great size , a lot bigger than the usual sealant tubes

I bought three of these together with Everbuild's jumbo sealant gun ,unfortunately the flimsy material of the tube combined with an undersized piston plate results in the sealant being forced past the piston plate and out the rear of the tube instead of out the nozzle , I therefor was unable to complete the plasterboard job and instead spent a great deal of time cleaning up the resulting wasted sealant, I can't review the quality and effectiveness of the sealant itself as I could not apply it , I can vouch for the fact that 1800 ML of sealant makes a hell of a mess. I didn't even try to use the third tube, a total waste of time and money !!!

Great product, used for sealing between acoustic board. Easy to use with the extra large sealant gun.

Had to return it because too big to use with my pump. Great product. Much cheaper than smaller size.

I thought these would be like any other normal 300ml mastic sealants. But no these tubes are HUGE and require a special applicator gun, which I have found is ONLY available on Amazon! and only one type. Neither Screwfix or any other DIY store have guns capable of handling the girth of these cartridges. Whilst they are value for money, bear in mind you WILL need to also purchase a gun applicator that will only ever be used for these things.

apparentemente ottimo prodotto. acquistato per sigillare i passaggi d'aria (di suono) in uno studio di registrazione, quindi necessaria l'intumescenza nel tempo, che però andrà valutata negli anni. La consistenza è molto pastosa ed uniforme, molto più semplice da applicare rispetto ai siliconi comuni.

Il prodotto è sicuramente performante ma privo di una reale certificazione che ne attesti le doti di cui vanta. Inoltre se non si ha la pistola adatta (in italia trovare una pistola per tubi da 900ml è veramente difficile) bisogna ingegnarsi: io ho semplicemente aperto il tubo e travasato il contenuto in due tubi ripuliti dal silicone.
