If your after scientifically backed then you want to take 1500mg glucosamine and 1200mg chondroitin. Now keep in mind it takes a few months before you notice, maybe even 6month depending on person. But yes fixes joints so pain relief. Great size and strength when taking 3 tablets. Good quality I presume as works. Easy for myself to personally swallow. Tablet are your typical capsule shape powder form. See photo for reference next to a pound coin

After X rays Confirmed Osteoarthritis to left knee to sides and top of knee Most painful and uncomfortable to weight bare and walk. After two months taking 3per day,progress Is good Now limp walking without too much pain and discomfort Still need support of a bannister rail when walking upstairs and downstairs however. Old age has caught up with me and I need to continue to take such supplements to heal and protect the joints and bones of my body. I would recommend but do not expect a quick fix it will take time together with exercise I have ordered another 2 months supply,received the other day

I’ve been struggling with some joint pain for the last few years. It’s largely due to complications from Cystic Fibrosis. I experience left knee pain and locking, pain in both my thumbs, back pain and some neck pain and creakiness. I’ve found that since taking these tablets for the last 4-6 weeks a lot of my pains are massively reduced. The knee pain is the worst as I couldn’t even kneel down for more than a few minutes without struggling. I can now, and have been able to up my cardio this last month. The thumb pain is greatly reduced and I have better mobility which has resulted in me finally being able to lift weights again. My neck feels a lot better. Unfortunately it hasn’t touched the back pain, though, but that could just mean the pain isn’t linked to bone/spinal, so more physio trips for that one. I can’t recommend this product enough. Admittedly I haven’t tried other brands, so this isn’t a comparison review. I picked these because it seemed cheaper to buy in bulk and am very happy I did.

I understand that Amazon wants buyers to review their buy/s quickly but there are times when it is difficult to assess a product at an early stage and this is one of them. This type of product was actually recommended by my GP for arthritic knees but the Dr. warned me not to expect any change or result for at least 3 months so writing a review based on taking the supplement for a week will hardly be helpful and certainly not "scientific". Happy to review again after the 3 month period and comment on effectiveness then. I did used to take a Glucosamine supplement and admit I found it made no difference at all but they were standard supermarket-strength tablets and not taken for a full 90 days (two months worth I think) but this product is described as "high-strength" so hopefully a longer trial period and a superior product (certainly more expensive but not very expensive) will yield better results. If not, I'll be having my knee joint replaced and so would like to think I could avoid or at least delay that. Time will tell. Product sent very quickly and postage-free so that was at least appreciated.

the tablets are much bigger than expected, so difficult to swallow and if you break them in half, they have sharp edges. Sorry won't be buying these again, despite the good value of them
