Great product for dogs with food allergy issues
Great product. Prescribed by my vet as one of my Lhasa apso dogs has digestion issues. It’s used as an alternative to another prescription only digestion aid food I have to use, for variety, as the “little monkey” will not eat only one brand if it’s all he gets (Lhasa’s are stubborn!); despite the “being a tough mama” treatment - he lost three kilos in stubbornness, preferring to starve, until we found this product. I use it for rewards and treats too, in a treat bag out walking, and will often surreptitiously exchange it with a treat from another dog owner when they are giving “biscuits”. Then I know he’s not going to get tummy issues. My other Lhasa gets and eats too, even though she has no digestion issues. She also loves. And it just makes life easier as Mr Stubborn wants her food not his, if it’s different! It’s definitely potato based, it’s the immediate smell that wafts up from the bag on opening. And note, it’s great as long as your dog doesn’t have an allergy to this Products ingredients - in which case that’s bad luck. If it’s compatible to your dog, I can confirm both of mine are fit and healthy on it, full of energy and have a thick, glossy coat. PS - I buy this huge size bag as it’s cheaper - the bigger the bag, the less you pay in the long run. I use a large plastic ikea clip to keep the bag sealed and the product fresh - it takes a while to get through the large bag when you have small pooches, they eat less.

Perfect food for Dogs with allergies
This is a really good product for dogs who have really itchy skin and generally not happy and always licking. I took my dog to the vet’s and they recommended I use this and I won’t buy anything else. My dog is itch free, skin all cleared up and has started to play again. All because my dog is allergic to certain proteins.

Genuinely Great (I rarely review)
Honestly a really good product! My lab had a skin issue when he was younger, vet said to try a hypoallergenic food and this was one of the recommendations and it made a huge difference. Obvs more expensive than standard kibble, but so so worth it and wouldn’t change it for anything else. Good to mix with 100% peanut butter too, my lab is mad for it!

A good dog food for the money.
This is a good quality dog food and my Bichon loved it. However she now has to have low fat food due to pancreatitis and this is too high in fat for her rushing a relapse. Shame most dry foods are high in fat.

Life saver!
I have a 3 year old Staffy who suffers with allergy/food intolerance issues. This is the only food that doesn't cause any adverse reactions in him and we'd be lost without it. It's gentle on his digestion and keeps his stools firm and regular. He looks fit and healthy with a shiny coat, and lots of energy! The ingredients are hydrolysed, which basically means they are broken into tiny particles which doesn't trigger a histamine response, so far less itching or redness. The kibble itself is about 1cm in diameter and a creamy yellow/white colour. It doesn't have a strong odour. It does look a little bland but my dog doesn't seem bothered and absolutely gobbles it up, I even keep some in my pockets for training/treats. I can't promise it will cure all issues, but if like me you're desperately trying to find something that your dog can eat without making their symptoms worse, then it's definitely worth a try! He's been on this food for almost a year now and it's the most settled he's been. I'd tried all the premium brands with single source protein and the best ingredients, and they're obviously great, but just didn't agree with him. So glad I took the plunge and ordered this! NB. If you are trying it, make sure to cut out all other food/treats, so you know if it's making a difference. You can then slowly reintroduce one food at a time and it should be easier to see which foods they're sensitive to, and can then remove it from their diet in future. There's a lot of guesswork involved though, so if your dog is doing well and your vet agrees, you might want to keep them on this. Good Luck ❤️

Do not understand why my dogs love it
I really do not understand why my dogs love this food. When I first received it I really thought they would turn their noses up at it. My Cane Corso is not on this food as he is the only one who has no intolerances to protein, he is really fussy and refuses certain brands and even he likes it. Already seeing improvement with both my dogs, less I scratching and chewing of their feet. Only been on it for 3 days so hopefully will see a massive improvement. Only on this for 10 weeks with no other food or scraps, then will be introducing 1 item of food at a time each for to weeks, then the next. I know they already have allergies to wheat, rice, beef, chicken and pork. But now looking at salmon and sweet potato. Will also be looking at other ingredients that are not proteins such as pumpkin, and other ingredients that are added into cold press dog food. Really happy with this food

Good but price always rising
does what it needs to but the price goes up A LOT between months and its offensive that the percentage ‘off’ is actually based on a new price thats actually the percentage added on. £57 when i last bought. today its £83 with 27% off only £57! Stop pricing dog owners out of the market. Make it affordable to have a dog!
