Surprisingly good! My skin tans well but in the winter i am quite pale. I rarely use fake tan (the last time being when I was teenager). I found this one very easy to use. And it works well provided you stand naked for about 15-30 minutes after application. I did find if I put my clothes back on straight away there were a few light streak marks. The tan it gives is very natural (not too dark). Unlike other tanning products it only smells the morning after application. Once you have a shower the smell completely goes . You can build up the tan over a couple of days if needed. Make sure you have a good exfoliater brush as it does look a bit patchy after about a week. It lasted well considering I did a lot of swimming. Would defiantly recommend to anyone who doesn't use fake tan regularly. :)

Thought I would give this a try as I don't get much time for sitting out in the sun these days and often look a bit peeky. Didn't tell my husband straight away - thought I would give it a go and see what the results were like. It does have a scent that is long lasting and not unpleasant. I tried it on my face initially, but used my moisturiser first to stop any blotching. It worked well taking a few hours to take effect. After a few days I asked my husband if I looked like I had been sunbathing. He said he had definitely thought I had a much better colour to my face and It looked super! That is all I needed to hear! I have used it on my arms and it worked brilliantly there too. You do need to keep reapplying though as it "fades" quite quickly. Used daily with your daily make up routine would keep the tan going perfectly!!! Good product and will keep using it! Quick delivery and well packaged. great price.

Having sensitive skin and being pale come early warmer months want a little bit of a tan for when wearing short sleeves etc. Have even used it on my face and again no nasty reactions to it.Tried some of this and was impressed, be warned though a little does go a long way. The pump action bottle is just right as the lotion comes out easily, only thing I find is that I can not get it to close up properly again, so lives in a plastic freezer bag now in bathroom.I applied mind after a bath and it smelt just like the body lotion but without the tanning bit, easy to apply. Just remember to wash hands between fingers if not using a mit or gloves though as this lotion does leave marks next morning if not washed off beforehand.Next morning I woke up tanned, son looked and asked where had I been overnight as tanned. So it does tan and you do get noticed with it, even OH commented on the tan effect but in a good way. The best thing is though this lotion keeps your skin nice and soft too whilst also giving it a nice tan and a natural looking one too.Only thing I will say is that when I applied it was thinking thank god none of that horrible biscuity tanning smell. However when my body began to get a little warmer in the evening (during the night) I awoke to that smell. So hence just the four stars as thought that smell would not be there.For the price and have tried various ones out in the past from expensive to cheaper ones, this has to be the best even if there is still a biscuit smell, though not as strong as most.

Absolutely beautiful!Over the years I've used so so many tans. More than I will care to admit. I came across this one by accident as I have been using the new palmers that has the pure coconut oil in it for my sons eczema Every tan I have used I always find a flaw. Too light. Too dark. Too streaky. Too orange. The story goes on but this gradual tan......... something else. Lots of moisture infused in the skin. It's a white cream but u just can't go wrong. No need to wait til it's dry. Does not have that sticky residue either and smells amazing Be generous with ur application and you will. Or be disappointed. Don't understand why I haven't tried this before. It's a no brainer!! A little tip tho..... after u have applied to the whole body, use a large bronzing brush to go over hands and feet and if your applying bronzer to the face!! Crazy I know but it works so well!!

I have very pale skin and wanted a nice subtle moisturising self tanner that I could build up without having that orange tone. I put this on after my shower and slept in it and honestly this is not a gradual tan. More like an instant fake tan. I was very please with the colour because normally fake tans on my skin always end up having that orange tint to them which I hate. But this one was actually brown. My Two downsides to this product is that fact that because it’s more like an instant tan it’s noticeable if you’ve mist a patch and it will streak. And the SMELL IS AWFUL. the smell when you first put it on is a nice cocoa butter smell like the other palmers products but in the morning the smell was so strong and had a real fake tan biscuit scent to it. And even after showering the smell lingers on your skin until you completely scrub it off and I found it really embarrassing having that smell on me all day so I had no choice but to scrub it off so I won’t be using again because of the smell

I have been using this product all Summer, and I love it. Gives an even glow and added boost of hydration to my skin. No nasty knee patches or cruddy ankles. Great price also.
