Active Max Flat Mop

Had to buy this as a replacement because the handle on my old one broke, it was actually easier and cheaper to buy the full mop again. Vileda handles don’t seem the best for long‑term wear and tear, but the mop itself works well. Arrived on time and does the job, so overall a good purchase

I cannot comment on its longevity as I've only used it twice but I can say that it is easy to remove and replace the microfibre mop head; it's also easy to rinse out and wring dry and it mops the floor clean without any floor cleaning liquid! I've used dozens of different types of mops over the 45 years I've been a housewife and I think this is the best mop I've ever used! What more could you ask from a mop?

Flexible adjustable and very manageable.

I bought this to use as a dry mop - but I didn't find it too great to sweep up cat hair and cat litter. But it's good as a wet mop - quick and doesn't get the floor too wet - so I just wet it with enzyme cleaner after I've brushed and it works ok like that. But I don't like the funny shaped head. A regular squared off head would be better to get into corners as the overhang lifts up so doesn't push into the eges. Not bad but maybe the designers should have got someone who mops to try it before they finalised the design.

Very poor design and we hate it. Like previous reviewers have said, the older models had poppers which held the pad firmly in place but also allowed the pad to be easily removed when required. With this design, as soon as you push the button to fold the mop, the pad slips off and falls on the ground. Another problem is that the material these pads are made of is inferior to the older design and are nowhere as good at picking up pet hair. Finally, the pointed corners (which we thought would be great for reaching into corners) are useless because they are too floppy.

Excellent European style floor mop.

not very good the stick is tall and fine but the moping mat or the piece of cloth that touch the floor is very thin couldn't stay for one month it got teared like a kitchen paper towel i wont buy it again
