I bought these for a friend who was suffering with a lengthy flu type illness. She doesn't like sweet things so used this option rather than the syrup. After 3 doses on day 1 she was feeling much better. Black elderberry is an ancient herbs remedy and I find it far more effective than Lemsip etc

I have been taking this for about 6 weeks now, after being recommended by a friend. the tablets make a pleasant fizzy drink and is an easy way of boosting vitimin c and zinc intakes. I get frequent colds, as i work in a school and get sneeezed at every day. I have had less colds since taking these and the ones I have started are less intense and go more quickly. I normally have more or less permanant colds from october to June-but have cold free weeks since taking the tablets. I forgot to take them on holiday with me and promplty got a cold on my return-dont know if this a cooincidence or not.My friend says her nails have improved since taking the tablets, but mine havnt improved yet.I would say these are worth a try if you get lots of colds.
