Best kettle I've had, boils quickly, reasonably quiet and pours very well. Also looks good.

My previous Andrew James Apollo kettle was durable but very well used and getting tatty after 5 years of heavy use. At £20 it didn't owe me anything. So it made sense to stick with what's good and buy this brand again. This is a modern, great looking kettle in grey. It is light wieght and can be used for one or two cups so boils fast, it's quieter than the last one, functions as you would expect with no taste or smell to the water and no leakage from spout. With the power base to sit on it fits nicely in the space of the old one. I'm very happy with the kettle and glad I stayed with the brand and chose the latest model.

Attractive looking kettle delivered promptly in well packed box. Good pourer and easy to read water level. Unfortunately, while quieter than my previous kettle, I don’t consider this to be a ‘quiet’ kettle.

Nice kettle which ticked all my boxes, nice colour , and not to heavy.

I’ve had this kettle about three weeks now and I’m pleased with it. It’s sturdy, quite stylish and fast. Much better than my last more plastic-y kettle. Price is very reasonable for the quality.

Really nice looking kettle - a bit pricey but willing to pay extra for top item. Worked well for 7 months then kept switching itself off and on again which meant much longer time to boil and made you unsure that it would indeed boil. I don't want an unreliable kettle so I consider this item not to expected standards. Asda really cheap kettle looks naff but at least it works for a few years. This kettle has a design fault which the manufacturers must know about since someone else in these reviews has had the same experience. They should rectify it before being marketed, otherwise it's fraud. Amazon take note.

The kettle overall is good, it does what it says on the tin. I bought this because my previous one that was by the same manufacturer was really good but there is one downside to this new one. The mechanism for opening the lid is awkward, you have to press really hard on the button to open the lid which is sometimes difficult for 66 year old fingers. The old one was much better
