When my kids were younger( 20 years ago) they all had a Rubin cube and they loved them. Yes they were frustrated by it on occasions but with practice they could do them quite quickly. If you’ve never had a Rubin cube they work quite simply. The cube rotates at every level meaning you can mix up the colours and then try and get the colours back to blocks again. This original Rubin cube rotates easily and is a good size in your hand. When my kids were younger I used to only mix them a bit so they stood a chance of fixing it quickly then as they got better I mixed them on every level. It’s a great time filler and as our original cubes had long since gone I sent them all a new one to entertain them during lockdown. They were all thrilled. I would say these are suitable from age seven upwards to adults. A great little puzzle that’s stood the test of time.

Make sure you buy an official Rubik's Cube and you won't be disappointed. I originally shelled out on a cheapo £2.49 imitation off that popular online auction site and it literally exploded into pieces once I twisted it and it got a little stuck on a side. After that incident, I decided to buy an official one from Amazon and it is great. Feel is much more sturdy and I have randomised and completed it around 10 times now without any issues. Being a more modern version, there are no stickers which make up the colours. It is coloured plastic instead which makes it much more durable and less likely to lose a colour when the adhesive on the old school stickers go on the old version I had as a kid. It comes with a little black plastic triangle stand, in case you want to store it on a little "holder" on one of its corner edges. Take it or leave it. Overall, this is a great product, easy smooth twisting and brings back the nostalgia of using one as a paperweight as a kid. Now, it's an actual puzzle that can be solved. Good brainteaser.

I bought an original, genuine 3x3 Rubik's cube in 2013 and the quality of this 2013 authentic cube was appalling. It was flimsy and was difficult to rotate the layers; even when they were perfectly aligned, they constantly stuck and jammed. The stickers started to peel away after a year or so. This genuine cube was an embarrassment to the manufacturer and I am sure to Erno Rubik, too. I hated it. I have just bought this Rubik's cube and the quality is completely different. It feels strong and the layers glide and rotate smoothly. There are no stickers. Instead, there are inset coloured squares, which are unlikely to come away. This iteration of the cube is a pleasure to use. I recommend it.

Simply a quality rubix cube. Smooth and fast to turn and use. Only flaw is it will often not align. Perfectly causing flows up turns not to work or be as smooth however this is easy to work around and doesn’t affect use very much.

Great value for money and very good quality. It’s not worth buying any other type of tonic cube as you don’t get the same ease of movement or smoothness with cheaper products. Colours are great as well.

Can’t do it but it is wonderful

A few weeks ago I found an old Rubik's cube in a cupboard. I should have done the sensible thing and left it there but no, I had to have a go! After spending many hours on it my arms started aching because it was a bit stiff. As my wife had left me by this time I decided to buy a better one and this product seemed ok. The difference is amazing! This one is a joy to use. Lightweight and easy to twist. No aching arms! Amazing that even after all the years they are still as addictive. I can highly recommend this cube but please don't blame me when you are buying lasagne for one.

PROS: • El uso es muy fluido. He probado otros cubos de Rubik y este está entre los mejores en cuanto a fluidez y facilidad de movimiento y giro. • Viene con un pequeño soporte para posar el cubo cuando no lo estemos utilizando. (ver fotos adjuntas) • Los colores NO son pegatinas. Son láminas de plástico pulido fijadas de forma sólida a cada cara del cubo. Esto da mucha confianza en cuanto a su durabilidad. • Los bordes están redondeados y son cómodos al tacto con las yemas de los dedos. CONTRAS: La verdad es que no le puedo poner ninguna pega. Está muy bien construido. • Lo único que podría decir es que cuando no tienes mucha práctica con los giros se te puede atascar un poco. Hay otros cubos que tienen pequeñas hendiduras en las esquinas de los cuadraditos para evitar esto, pero con la práctica esto no es un problema. CONCLUSIÓN: Muy buena construcción, sólido y fluido en su uso. Los colores de los cuadrados NO son pegatinas sino láminas pulidas de plástico fijadas de forma sólida. Esto da confianza en cuanto a su durabilidad ya que las pegatinas tienden a caerse con el tiempo. Muy satisfecho con la compra. Lo recomiendo al 100%.

Son juegos magníficos , de calidad y entretenidos

Es del nivel esperado, y tiene un tamaño apropiado para poder llevarlo contigo a donde quieras. El giro es ágil y rápido. Producto de calidad. Vale lo que cuesta.

Lo malo es que al cabo de unos pocos días lo hacía casi con los ojos cerrados y perdió el interés por el cubo. Lo peor es que lo dejó en casa y yo no paso de cara y media, menos mal que he conseguido olvidarme de él o me hubiera provocado una depresión (estos jóvenes son algo especial, mejorados como los programas de ordenador). Es duradero, ahí sigue.

¿Que decir del cubo mas famoso de todos los tiempos? Buena calidad, no para competición, pero para niños y yo mismo, mas que suficiente. Pone que incluye instrucciones, pero no viene. Hay que descargarlo de la web.
