I used one this morning. It proved a lot better than the freestyle landers I am issued with that are rather large and punch painful holes which hurt all day and I am no wimp. These are a lot finer and not so deep yet are the same gauge. On setting 3 with the company lancer I had enough blood to complete a test but did not have the pain with the freestyle lancer and Lancet which lasts all day. This one barely caused any pain and I would not know I had done a test within minutes
