An added layer of protection
I've added these products to windows in 2 homes and have recommended them to others, who have bought also. They are simple to install and to use and produce an alarm sound that is loud enough to get your attention. This isn't the only security system we have (we also use Blink cameras) but it is another layer that will help deter intruders. I think this is a great little product for not a lot of money. We have had the first set of alarms for exactly a year now and they continue to work as stated. Occasionally a bird will bump the window and set one off but they turn themselves off after about a minute and rearm themselves automatically, which is the best feature. We have one of them on a sliding patio door and it just fits behind when the door is opened.

Well worth it
These little devices are excellent, I purchased them based on the reviews. I was surprised by the small size of them, five easily fit in your palm. Because of that I wasn’t sure they’d be particularly effective but need not have worried. I stuck them on, turned them on and opened a window and the noise emitted was unbelievable. More than adequate to scare some idiot burglar or wake you up in the night. Installation is just a matter of choosing where to stick them down. I stuck three on upper corners of windows and a week later they are all still there, one I put on slightly opaque glass of a door but it fell down so re stuck it to the Upvc frame and it’s fine. They are compact and relatively unnoticeable. Until I can install better windows these are well worth it.

Good Security Item that Doesn't Break the Bank
We bought three packs of these and have fitted them to all our doors and windows. As others have said they are loud. They are, however, not loud enough for all of them to be heard in our bedroom (we have a four-bed, three reception roomhouse). I think then that you need to be realistic: unlss you have a small home the hope must be that the sound sends the burglar running. Of course, you also have the warning label on the sticky face which should help. Don't forget upstairs windows that could be accessed from flat roofs. They are sensitive, For example, we have them on our kitchen windows. Dropping a tea caddy lid on an adjacent worktop set one off. We have also noticed that if strong sunlight causes the window to get hot this can also trigger an alarm. In short, entry without triggering an alarm is impossible. As others have indicated, these little devices do give you a warm sense of added security but they cannot be regarded as burglar alarms. They have a decent quality feel to them. They are very worthwhile, in my view, at a price that doesn't break the bank.

Works well, would recommend.
-These look modern and ‘techie’. -They’re slim enough to place on sliding glass doors without catching when sliding the doors. -The alarm is very loud. -Batteries seem to last a long time. -No false alarms but they’re sensitive enough to go off if you tap on the glass. -They have a sticky pad on the back which sticks very well and stays on even in prolonged hot sunshine -The have a warning sign on the back which a would be burglary could see through glass. -Handy low battery warning. I found that the alarm starts to beep when the battery gets low. I usually leave the alarms on 24/7 but occasionally turn them off if I’m opening the glass door. The beeping started when I turned the alarm back on. The beeping then stopped when I renewed the 3 batteries. I have been using the alarm for around a 1.5 years.

Possibly most effective method of detering intruders.
Cheap and excellent value for money. Noise level MUST deter any intruder and can be switched off when at home. Goes off after 30 seconds so will not annoy neighbours. Automatically resets itself if intruder trys again. Security cameras are good at possibly identifying someone but my objective would be to keep potential thieves from entering in the first place and these shock sensors will, I believe, achieve just that.

Only three Work
Only three of these sensors work. If I want a replacement, it would mean having to send all of them back. Not worth the time. Easy to install with self adhesive backing on sensor. Silly cartoon burglar picture makes them look like a toy. Very sensitive even dropping something on the floor can set them off. But generally okay. Activated noise level, not sure, but good high pitch. 3 Button batteries are included in each sensor, not sure how long they will last, but note replacement batteries of a quality are £4.50 a pack of four. thus £14 to replace a full set.

For, the price, a steal!
Our previous French door alarm worked okay, but when the battery finally ran out I started looking for a replacement and found these, which are superior in every way. They look better, are less obtrusive internally, while still relaying the ‘beware potential burglar’ to the outside, in no uncertain terms. They take a few seconds to fit and have appropriate sensitivity: I dropped a plate on the kitchen floor at least 3 metres away from the kitchen door and the alarm sounded! The noise it makes is pretty hideous too! Not loud enough to wake up the whole neighbourhood but effective enough to convince a would-be burglar that they are indeed loud enough to wake up the occupants! For, the price, a steal!

Brilliant, easy to fit, deterrent to burglars
Bought these after been burgled (locked window crow barred open) and they are so effectively. Deterrent with the message on the back showing anyone looking at the window that there are alarms in place. Just stick onto window, easy to fit and arm. I just slammed the kitchen cupboard accidentally and set off the kitchen window alarm so they sensitive to vibrations but not overly so. Highly recommend.
