Master Lock 723EURD Heavy Duty Outdoor Door Padlock Hasp, 14 x 6 cm

I bought two for my up and over double garage door. Oddly the five holes for the hasp are for 6 mm diameter bolts or screws and the four holes for the eye are for 4 mm screws or bolts but only two 4 mm (Philips head) bolts are supplied. The nine screws supplied are Philips head, 30 mm long by 4 mm diameter so they might be considered as a bit undersized for the hasp especialy if the wood has been weakened by exposure to the weather for some time. I bought extra bolts to fit the eyes to the metal door and 6 mm diameter screws for the hasp. The hasp covers the eye and fits flat on the surface so it would be very hard to get a crow bar or similar under it and lever it off. The hasp and eye are much heavier than the 130 g claim. I weighed them on an accurate kitchen food scale at 498 g. The back of the package states: 1. Cast steel hasp, 2. Hardened Boron locking eye - withstands up to 4 1/2 tons of cutting force, accepts shackle diameter of up to 11 mm. 3. mounting hardware included. 4 Lifetime guarantee. The hasp could have been better designed by covering more of the locking eye so as to make it harder to get at with bolt cutters. Overall I am very happy with them.

Bought to secure my new shed, solid and sturdy hasp that feels really well made. The build quality is excellent and it gives a good sense of security once fitted. Everything lines up well and it feels durable enough for long-term outdoor use. For the price, the value for money is great. It does exactly what it’s meant to do and feels much stronger than cheaper alternatives. Very happy with it. Easy to fit and seems to be well coated for weatherproofing and rust resistance.

This is a really good lock. It's really strong, hides the screws so it can't be tampered with. I would definitely buy another

Spot on

This is a beast of a hasp. I needed something to stop my gates exploding outwards, destroying bolts during our frequent winter gales. it just so happened we got one of the gales the day after I fitted this and no dramas, everything held together. No more tying the gates together with rope the day before! Hopefully it will withstand many more weather events. It is a heavyweight and thicker than I imagined. Comes with two long bolts and screws so its very secure. The padlock eye is a nice size and I was able to use quite a heavyweight padlock with it. If I have one complaint it would be that it could be slightly longer but that's only because I wanted it to secure large gates.

OK, looks nothing like the picture. Can't get a strong padlock through it. It's black gloss, and much squarer than the photo The supplied screws and bolts are too weak to use. I can't fit any of my normal padlocks through the hole in the staple once the hasp is over it. It has some reinforcing bars which stop you being able to crop the hoop of the staple and this makes the space left a bit tight in my opinion The hardware itself feels good and strong. Wouldn't buy again, but OK as its here

The main body seems very solid. Comes as a gloss finish. My main concern is over how long the metal loop will last as it's not fixed to anything (all parts are independent). I ended up spraying with red oxide primer to hopefully reduce the rust. I would say this is more of a deterrent than anything.

En comparación con otras aldabas que he visto, es mucho más solida y robusta. Estéticamente, además, da sensación de hierro forjado, muy buen acabado para puerta antigua o rústica. Desde mi punto de vista, falla el anclaje del pasador, que es menos sólido que el cuerpo principal de la aldaba. Por lo demás, correcto.
