Fantastic bit of kit. Had it up and running within a few minutes. The bulbs supplied with the kit are really bright so you get a good photo every time. Because it comes in it's own carry bag it makes the whole thing versatile and easy to transport. The tripod is stable and holds the soft box with ease.

I'm extremely happy with my purchase.So glad I found Neewer brand after hours searching the web looking for an affordable but pro photography lighting equipment. My first impression was "Excellent quality!" when I've opened the box and took out all the pieces. The materials are not as the cheap looking in fact I feel like I have a bargain.It was very easy to set up the soft boxes (each comes with a protective pouch with a handle)I really like that I can tilt the soft boxes in the direction I need. I like how powerful the bulb is.The size shocked me,I haven't seen such a big bulb.I took some pictures with my phone and the result are great. What amazes me most is how accurate the colors are on the picture,like the real ones. That's exactly what I need. I can imagine how much my photography will improve when I use my DSLR camera!I'm so thankful.What can I say I'm one happy customer:)

The product was relatively easy to set up. I received no instructions so thank God for YouTube which helped me to figure out how to insert the bulbs. The product provides fairly decent light and is good enough for my purposes. Despite this I am uncertain I would buy another Neewer product or purchase anything from the seller because I received a defective product. I am a beginner photographer in the Middle East. I usually order stuff from Amazon US but I usually order electrical products from the UK because the UK uses 220v like the Middle East. Although I got free shipping to a UK address using Amazon prime to have the product delivered to the address the shipping company uses, I ended up paying GBP97 just to ship the item to me in Qatar. I was upset about the cost but it is what it is. I got the 220v socket. I just unboxed the item yesterday when I decided to set it up only to discover a razor sharp slash about 12” long on one side of the carrying bag. I thought, “ok, it’s just the bag that’s damaged hopefully it’s only the outer lining.” Nope! It was a DEEP SLASH that penetrated the carrying bag, the carrying bag for one of the soft-boxes AND THE SOFT-BOX itself resulting in a 4-5” through and through slash in the softbox. I am EXTREMELY disappointed in the seller and/or Neewer! The slash was sooooooo obvious on the side of the bag someone ought to have noticed. One of the boxes the light stand came in also had a long gash in it on the side facing the inside of the carrying bag it was packed in. Now I’m stuck with a defective softbox I can’t afford to pay GBD97 to return plus GBP97 for shipping for a replacement. My alternative have the replacement shipped to someone in the UK and either wait until I am visiting myself or wait on a friend to visit. Would I recommend the product to a beginner? Yes, just be aware that the customer service is lacking. Who needs a soft box with a slash in it?

I am quite surprised, i only really grabbed these to play with just incase everything shuts down again due to current events to have a little dabble into product photography who knew it is actually fun. Though i do have one complaint though not really a complaint, the stand is not the best for keeping it steady, but it does the job and the socket and box can be put on another stand anyway so you are not stuck with it if it bothers you, personally im not fussed and at the end of the day that price is fantastic for what you get and no tools needed just set up and go pretty much all parts are adjusted with things you would see on a basic tripod, so yeah love it for it simplicity, i think i will be buying from neewer in the future. UPDATE , not a shaky as i originally thought, a friend pointed out that the legs extend further than i extended them, giving me more balance, still wouldn't let my dog run around near them, still not sturdy enough that they can be bumped into, but yeah thought i should update this because i think this is a good product for people starting out.

I recently purchased a set of softbox lights, and I'm incredibly pleased with how they turned out. They are professional quality and look great on a set, yet are easy enough to carry in a transportable box. I was worried about price, but these lights have proven to be very cost-effective. They are extremely bright and provide a lot of light for my projects. The only downside is that the lights can actually be a bit tricky to assemble, but that's to be expected with any lighting setup. Finally, it's easy to store the lights even in smaller spaces. I am very happy with my purchase.

No instructions included or required for this outstanding piece of kit. When I purchased it was £59.95 and well worth it. There is nothing shoddy or cheap about this set up which is well made and works fantastic. I made the mistake a little while ago of assuming that an umbrella set up was just a less space hogging alternative to soft boxes. Wrong! I require a soft light and the umbrellas are a tad more contrast-y than a nice big soft box like these are. The carrying case is similarly well made and all the original packaging is suitable to use for travel & storage. Probably one of the best things I've got from amazon - and I buy A LOT!

Worked as described on 2 occasions. 3rd occasion one of the connectors at the base of the light totally disintegrated and came away from the rest of the light whilst screwed in rendering the unit totally useless. Poor quality bulbs

I received the kit today, it’s easy to assemble, the lights are extremely bright and it’s very good except one of the white diffuser covers didn’t fix properly, it was half the size of the first cover... I hope I will be able to send the half sized cover back to get a replacement and that’s why I gave it 3*s

I was super happy at first, because the lamps are light and open like an umbrella (very comfortable). But one of the lamps stopped working after a month. Initially I thought it was the bulb that stopped working but after checking and replacing the bulb it turned out that it was the lamp. I am super disappointed and upset.
