Best Baby Buy!
This is undoubtably one of our best baby purchases. The beautiful mobiles we recieved as gifts are just a bit too stimulating at bed time but this is perfect. The music lasts about 20 mins and is nice and quiet on it's lowest setting. The range of tunes is nice too but to be honest, we've stuck with one and it's been a great sleep cue for our little one. We bought this when she was about 5 weeks and hard to settle but it really helped her sleep and now, at 8 months, she still loves it and sleeps easiest when it's on.Yes, it is pretty battery hungry but we do use it every night, and often during the day for nap times too. Now that our little one is bigger, she loves pushing the buttons to make Pooh snore - I'm often woken in the morning to the tune and snoring Tigger but she will happily lie and watch the light show, sometimes even falling back to sleep - yay!I was discussing with a group of other mum what the best gifts for new parents were and we all agreed that this was one of the best things we bought and have gifted it since. Highly recommended.

With a bit of DIY this is a LIFESAVER! Worth purchasing if you have sleepless nights
In all honestly I initially thought this product was a waste of money.I bought it for my 5 month old daughter who was waking up 6x a night for her dummy and I needed something automatic to distract her and send her back to sleep. (She sleeps in her own room in a cotbed)The first night, the smallest creak of a floorboard or even a slight heavy breath would set this off. It's SO loud and the night light could light up the world let alone her tiny room!It sat in the cupboard until one night we could not settle her. After 45 minutes of none stop screaming I said get that stupid Winnie thing out!!! We put it on and she smiled and fell straight to sleep! Was it a fluke?!Well after a bit of DIY to the projector I've managed to find a spot on the cot far enough away it doesn't set off unless she whines a bit loud, I have covered the nightlight so only the projector lights up and I have also covered the speaker so it's not as loud! It's been nearly 2 weeks and we have only had to get out of bed on 2/3 occasions! I'd say this is a LIFESAVER!!The batteries have lasted us 2 weeks and I will be swapping them over for rechargeable ones to save money.I do recommend this product. It has definitely worked for our family :-)

Worth its weight in gold!
I cannot recommend this enough to tired and exasperated parents! Yes the tune is annoying after a while (but there are other options) but I simply don't care as the sleep it has provided is worth the annoyance a million times over. After a few tries initially with my 3/4 month old he was asleep by the end of the timed setting and then it comes on again if he stirs and 9 times out of 10 gets him off again. This does mean the tune can permeate sleep but when you wake up in the morning without having to get up a million times you simply don't care. Also, yes the batteries run down quickly but what is more preferable- saving the cost of a few batteries or a full nights sleep?! In addition - to those 'sleep experts' who will tell you they develop a reliance and can never sleep without it- horse doo-doo; my baby is now 8 months and has slept fine without it for several months. However, as you find out as a new parent, every battle you win you will have to fight it again in a months time or so. So, out comes our magic friend Winnie the Pooh for this latest sleep-strike. The fact that I can write this is testament to its fantastic-ness. It may not work for your baby, but it's worth a go!

does the job it was made for!
I bought it because id gotten into the bad habbit of rocking baby to sleep and desperately needed something else to comfort her. Well it certainly worked for me. i only use it at bed time so i cant really comment on the day time mode. the projection on the ceiling is very good indeed, and i do like the fact it times itself out after about 20mins. saves the whole pretending to be some sort of ninja to click the off button silently as to not wake up baby. the only bad point i can see is that the volume doesnt really sound much different between loud and quiet mode, but that not really a major issue. on the whole iv found it to be a very useful product indeed. now all i need to do is work on getting her to sleep in the day time!!!

'Works like a charm!'
I bought this for my baby girl who is now 3 months old. In night mode, the lightshow shows the images quite clearly on the ceiling and the main body of the device lights up too with characters and clouds. It takes about 3 mins for the same image to be repeated but only us adults will notice this I think! It has 3 night time tunes (twinkle twinkle little star is one of them) and 3 day time tunes (Winne the Pooh theme tune is one) plus you can change the melody if your tired of hearing the same one. At night time, I play the same one which seems to relax my baby and she knows its bedtime. The lightshow is great for her to gaze at whilst she is drifting off to sleep and it really works like a charm! On auto-mode the melody will loop the tune 3 times and then it will shut down. If your baby is restless through the night it will automatically come on again to sooth your baby back to sleep. In daytime mode, the main body of the device lights up and the tunes are more upbeat plus there are buttons that baby or you can press that make sounds, one of which is a tweeting bird sound. The device clamps onto a cot quite well too. My only negative would be that sometimes I wish the night melody looped a little longer maybe 4-5 times. Overall, I am glad I chose this product and would recommend it! :)
