I purchased this to use as a Key drop box for our repair shop. First impression, the box looked perfect for what we needed it for. The color was a darker blue than the photo, but still worked for our color scheme. However, the box we received came damaged inside and the door didn't close flush. I am returning this only because I realized the mail slot was not big enough for all keys ( see photos). We have customers who have multiple keys or decorative key chains on their keys that may not fit. Unfortunately, we have to find another one elsewhere. But this seemed very durable and looked awesome. I also tested the key with some similar keys we have and none of them would open the box. So, the key security is there, no one can open it with another type of key.

This is a very secure mail box and was easy to attach to the house. I also like it that it does have a special kind of key to open it that is not easily replicated. The only caution I have is that, if you use your mailbox to send mail to someone it does not have that capability, so make sure you don't need that. Otherwise I highly recommend this mailbox over many others that are not as secure.

The actual slot to put the mail in was barely big enough to put two pieces of mail (in thickness, not width) through at the same time. So no way a magazine was fitting through it or keys (advertized that it could be used as a key drop off box.) Not this box. Mailman would have to stand there and feed one piece of mail into it at a time. That will not serve us for our purposes. Other than that, the box seemed sturdy and would be a secure.

This mail box is a fantastic buy. Very pleased with the quality the lock works great. Almost impossible for this to come off the outside wall. Works great!

Works great for what I needed it for (small deposit box at work). Doesn't fit a lot through the slot, which is nice, because no fingers or hands are getting in there. Wouldn't work if you need to stuff something thick in there.
