I have no idea how good this is for its intended use. I grow succulents and had a great many that were in pots under two inches in diameter. This was great for loosening dirt around the plants, using it to work dirt into gaps around the roots, and even made a good root "rake" for the smaller and more delicate roots. I orginally seen a YouTuber use dental tools for small plants so I decided to try that, too. This isn't the particular tool that the content creator used. It was basically the first one I saw that seemed good quality and was shaped the way I wanted. I wasn't disappointed! Anyway, if you're doing dental work, I can't help you. But if you do any kind of projects and need a small tool, this works great! Other plant parents have been impressed with it as well! I would buy this again if I needed it or as a gift for others working with small plants.
