I have a much bigger version that is roughly 10 years old. It is a pain to clean due to its size, weight & it can’t be immersed in water. I often thought it would be a lot better if the metal cooking surfaces were detachable. This one is much easier to use as it’s smaller but above all else it’s easy to clean as the heating element & control can be detached. The heating element also acts as a hinge so once removed you’re left with the two metal cooking surface halves that are a doddle to clean by hand or put in the dishwasher.It doesn’t have the a timer just on/off & a red/green light to indicate when it’s reached the correct temperature to begin cooking.This grill is ideal to cook small amounts say 2 burgers at once. I mince my own meat & make burgers & this cooks them perfectly without altering the taste as a bbq would. It has a tray which catches the fat and juice & this also works well, better than the earlier system which wasn’t always very successful in catching the fat.It does get hot & needs to be handled with oven gloves but for £39 I’m very pleased.

I am very pleased with the item and find easy to use and with the feature of the plates being able to go in the dishwasher certain that it is clean every time I use it. Easy instructions to follow and well packaged item.

It works fine, no issues so far.Heat up quicklyThe top part is a bit wobbly, but I guess it is to accommodate different sizes of food at the same time.It doesn't bother me that much.I had a previous George Foreman grill, but a different model. It never failed, so we decided to go for the same brand. Easy to take apart and put in the dishwasher after use and it comes out as new!

Great product love that it can stand upright for ease off storage & the fact the full thing can be put into the dishwasher very handy . It’s good level off heat .

Never purchased a press as I knew I wouldn't want to deal with the clean up so the ability to put in the dishwasher is amazing. Super easy to detach and reassemble, had for a few months without any issue. Just wish these came in a white version!

After 3 months ownership I can honestly say this is the best kitchen appliance I have bought.I use it for so much stuff now, but the best for me is steak. It cooks it perfectly every time, with the char lines it looks so appetising.I even did a 'healthy' fried bread on it the other day! Just very lightly butter the bread both sides and chuck it in. Lovely.I don't have a dishwasher but this thing is so easy to clean in the sink. I let it soak for a few minutes then just wash as a normal item. No worries.I hope a larger one becomes available in the immersa range, I will definitely get one.

First one arrived fairly quickly but there was a hole in the package and on opening grill was broken. Went through the procedure and new one arrived the following day with no damage, amazing. Tried a burger on the grill after a couple of days, heated quickly and cooked the burger to pefection with cheese on it. Did not have to flip the burger either. So nice I had a secone one and no flipping and looked even better but still tasted great. Put in dishwasher that night and following morning found to be spotless. Very happy with this product hence 5 stars. Box should be stronger to take punishment though.
