Best of breed steering stem mount
I've used at least 6 different motorcycle steering stem mounts that work similarly in fashion to these however this one is far superior to every other design that I've ever tried. Most of them are often difficult to mount securely into the steering stem. Some are difficult to insert initially, some move around a good amount due to rubber bushings but this one is easy to setup, remains super secure, and is easy to remove. I have mixed feelings about the security Torx bolt but it's probably isolated to my use since I am frequently installing and removing because I use these to temporarily mount cameras or test gear to different motorcycles. It's a quality product and I've purchased several over the last couple of years and recommend repeatedly.

Prevent installed ball from rotating.
I have been using the RAM steering stem ball mount for years for GoPro videos on both a 2011 GSX-R750 and a 2003 CBR954RR. It worked fairly well but as was previously mentioned, required every other day (~ 200 miles per day of twisty roads) tightening on my weeklong trips in order to keep the GoPro aimed properly through the windscreen. The plastic cinching washer expanding the rubber collar inside the steering stem had limited friction capability to prevent rotation of the entire mount while operating the GoPro's controls. As already mentioned, installation of this metal sleeve mount was very easy. Once tightened it provided much more resistance to turning than the RAM device. However, installing and testing an i360 X3 demonstrated what appears to be a slight shortcoming. Operating the i360 controls allowed the ball to slightly rotate in its mount. The stem part did not rotate, only the ball itself. Removing the mounting bolt and placing an external #10 star washer below the existing 2 flat washers such that the star washer teeth contact the ball then reinstalling the bolt markedly improved the ball's resistance to torque/rotation.Because the new mount is more robust than the RAM, I hope videos will be smoother and clearer.dwwActual use result:After a few hundred miles of video recording (1100 miles on the bike), stem mount assembly and ball have remained tight. Compared to the thousands of video miles I've recorded with the prior mount, the resultant videos with this mount are the smoothest and clearest I've experienced.

Buy this product! 5 🌟
Solid product and does exactly what is expected while providing the utmost confidence. The ideal stem mount for any phone case/mount out there. Super easy to install and holds firm! I own a 2023 Ninja 400 if anyone is wondering specifics.

Yup, its Great.....
People were raving about this on the ZX-4 forum, so I bought one.... and it lives up to the hype.I knew how bad the Ram Stem Mount was, so I never planned on using a Stem Mount... but thisBRCOVAN Stem Mount is great (complete opposite of the Ram).I believe my Stem is 22mm and the large adapter worked perfectly, it's tight & secure.Someone here said it's soft metal, but that's actually good, so you don't mar the inside of your Stem Tube.Only the jaws seem to be soft (part that touches stem) where the wedges seem to be hard (part the screw goes into), so I think it's a sound design. It even comes with Spare O-Rings, so you'll be able to transfer this to your next bike, several years down the road.I'd probably prefer a version w/o the Security Screw (so you can mount it with standard tools), since I don't think there's a high probability of theft.

Not having hex head on screw is dumb. Double check it's super tight before riding!!
Taking a star off due to the dumb decision to use a security torx head screw. They advertise this as a security thing but in reality it's just a huge inconvenience if you ever lose or don't have the special wrench. No one is going to steal your stem mount.Huge thing to know here is that you have to absolutely crank the screw down, and do a test with the RAM mount after to make sure it's tight. I didn't get it tight enough and it started spinning during a ride, the bottom of my phone mount scratched my brand new bike. Blame myself for not making sure it was secure and checking clearance if it rotated but just a heads up!

Perfect fit
This fit in a 12mm hex hole just perfectly! Really is the perfect foundation for my phone holder system on my motorcycle. Would definitely purchase again. This is well made and seems very durable. So far it’s rock solid and looks great!

2020 GSXR600 - piece that comes attached fits well
I've ridden about 200 miles with it so far and it is solid. I paired it with a ram mount short arm and a tackform 25mm vibemax phone mount. works great and next to no movement while riding.
