This one grates Romano and Parmesan the way they should be grated. It's made like the original older style, and works like it too. All the other newer styles get all gummed up because the new style finer grating surface doesn't have holes. This was does, and those wonderful hard Italian cheeses are grated into a very fine and powdery consistency. That powder is consistency is what's required for many Italian dishes.

Its a old fashioned grater so how could it be made better? It is sturdy and reinforced to prevent bending or warping but grating canbage is a typical pain in the grater. It this grater were about 2 inches wider it would be perfect.
