Perfect!
This is my all-time favorite protein powder. I want something that tastes good, has a good texture, and gives me the protein I need. I like it with a cup of unsweetened almond milk and a little water, blends great in a blender bottle or blender. I will mix half a scoop of this with a scoop of meal replacement powder (usually Amazing Meal), a cup of almond milk, and a cup of water if I need a complete meal. I tried the meal replacement powder without this, and it was not good. Half a scoop of this makes it delicious. I would love it if this company came out with a meal replacement powder too; I love this stuff that much. My son is an athlete, and he loves this too. Makes a great post-practice snack for him, and I feel good about the ingredients. I have already purchased a second tub, and will just do subscribe and save because it is now a staple in our house.

Good powder, container complaint
The taste is not bad. Frankly, in my opinion, if you are drinking protein drinks for the taste your priorities are out of whack. But anyway, the taste is not bad. I've certainly had better but the vanilla bean actually tastes like vanilla, albeit a slightly bitter version of vanilla. The profile is exactly what I wanted. It mimics the amino acid profile of whey without the ill effects of lactose/dairy. It mixes extremely easy and the texture is superb. The one complaint I have is that the outer security wrapper is also the product information wrapper. So once you open the container, you are left with a blank white container. It's not a huge deal but it would be better to have the product information printed on the actual container in case you want to reference the directions, nutritional info, or ingredients.

Hate the taste/flavor of this protein powder
I purchased this protein powder after my son's pediatrician told me to cut all dairy out of my diet. I am breastfeeding and he was having symptoms of colic. I have used Optimum Nutrition 100% whey protein for several years and love most of the flavors. I typically keep chocolate and vanilla on hand. Reviews looked good for this one, so I bought it and planned to mix it with unsweetened almond milk. All I can say is yuck. This powder is way too sweet for me and has a terrible artificial sweetener flavor to it. It almost tastes like chemicals, the way diet soda tastes to me. I tried it one more time mixed with water, but just ended up tossing the rest of the container. I just couldn't get past that artificial sweetener taste.

Great and very very comparable to more expensive brands.
I have tried several vegan protein powders: Vega (Protein and Greens), Garden of Life (Raw Meal Protein), Aloha, SunWarrior (Natural Protein), and Manitoba Hemp Protein Powder and now SAN Raw Fusion. In terms of taste, texture, digestibility, and how easy it is to mix with water in a Shaker/Blender bottle I'd say SAN Raw Fusion is as good and highly comparable to the Vega Protein Powder line. There is an artificial taste to both brands because of the fructose in SAN and the stevia in Vega. But I've tried raw hemp powder and the SunWarrior Natural flavor protein and those are hard to mix with water, get chalky, and for most I think it wouldn't appeal to those who can't stand that grainy texture and earthy dirt taste. I don't mind it too much and still use those powders because I like getting all kinds of plant proteins in my diet. FYI I don't eat meat and eat very healthy (kale, spinach, arugula, and all that green leafy goodness) so, I don't care for sugars or crave sweets so I personally think the taste of Raw Fusion is quite strong but... again it's so affordable has a great amino acid profile that lifters want. Garden of Life is good and doesn't have an artificial taste but I can't stand the smell, to me it's borderline rancid smelling. The bio-fermentation of SAN's plant protein makes it easy to digest and being a CPT I appreciate that a lot! I have clients back to back with maybe 10 minutes in between and need something that I can easily mix/shake with water and drink to keep me satiated. This does that for me and since its more affordable than Vega I'm going to be buying SAN more than Vega.

Healthy, but has a strange aftertaste
I was very happy about the ingredients label when I was considering this product. The content was great, it was low in calories, came recommended. This even mixed very smooth. As a meal supplement this was even pretty filling. I just CANNOT get over the weird aftertaste. I don't even know what I would describe it as. Maybe its the vanilla flavor? Who knows. I didn't really notice it on the first couple of servings, but after using it for a few days I got a strong aversion to it. I ended up switching to the chocolate flavor of Veggie Protein by MRM and it's worked out well. It didn't blend as well as rawfusion, but it tastes much better. I'm going to try rawfusion again, but I'm going to switch flavors. Maybe it's just the vanilla flavor combined with veggie protein (as opposed to whey) that I'm not liking.

Way too sweet - not a fan. Not much of a choc/PB taste to it. Blends well, not chalky and reasonable price for what you get though.
