Perfect Jeep radiator
Perfect fit. Radiator controls the temperature of the engine. It is compatible with my vehicle perfectly. I did not have to put it together. Now my Jeep does not leak.

Spectra CU1193 Cherokee Radiator
I will agree with others: I was totally blown away with the exactness of fit. I've been working on cars for 50+ years and I can not recall a better fit from an after-market part. I was expecting to have to remove the upper and lower mounting brackets from the old radiator and install (and align!) them on the new radiator. Not needed; the new radiator came with brackets already installed AND CORRECTLY ALIGNED for a perfect, drop-in fit. Also, the angle of the transmission cooler fitting was pointing in exactly the correct direction. The water inlet and outlet ports were exactly the correct length; didn't interfere with anything. So far, the radiator is working great; no more overheating in my '99 Cherokee. Bottom line: i wish all replacement auto parts fit and performed this well. Also, the cost is very reasonable. (Replacement OEM radiators cost well over $200!!)

Spectra, worth the price, great quality, Jeep's love them.
Went to start up my Jeep Cherokee, started puking coolant, turns out my existing radiator had cracked right where the lower radiator hose goes in. Ordered this based on the reviews. Changed it out, install went smooth. Fired up the Jeep, kept topping off the coolant, all is well. This one fit PERFECTLY in place of the previous one. It was about 19f outside when I did the radiator, thankfully Jeep's are cake to work on. I've had this for a little over a year in my Cherokee, 1 (New England) and a half (NY) winters and 15,000 miles later 0 issues with leaks or anything. This one tends to hold up better when it hits bugs and rocks on the motorway. GREAT PRODUCT!

Cools well, no issues and no leaks in the past year.
Works as well as the original but was not an exact match. Needed to make a couple small changes to get thing to fit to this one

Buy it
I hope I don't jynx myself by saying this but... I have a 1992 XJ that I've owned for 20yrs. I do all of my own maintenance on it just like most any other XJ owner does. Like most others I have always had a problem with it running warmer than I thought it should. I know it's designed that way but..... I have replaced the radiator a few times from stock replacement to an all metal 3 core. Always with the same results. Tried a ZJ fan clutch. Same. My 3 core started leaking (again) and the national 1-800 company I bought it from wouldn't replace it since I have moved out of state and they would only replace it if I brought it back to them (so beware of that if you buy from them). I took a chance on this one after reading good reviews for it and I have to say my Jeep has never run cooler. It rarely gets to the 210 mark and that's in 100 degree weather at a stoplight. I did leave the ZJ fan clutch on it because I was too lazy to put the XJ one back on. This thing has worked great for me. It was a perfect fit. I highly recommend it.

great replacement part works for manual/auto
I used this in my manual transmission Cherokee XJ. It has the extra fittings for the transmission cooler which the manual XJ doesn't need. However this is good for me as I might use it as part of a power steering cooler (although I already have a small one). This is a direct replacement for my old radiator. Amazon shipped this in a HUGE box. I thought there was a bathtub in there. Then inside the box is the manufacturers box which was protected b/c of the Styrofoam. In short, no way would this come to you damaged. I haven't had it on too long but It appears to be well made. My old one 'started' to fail where the plastic end tank hits the core. My understanding is that there is an o-ring there that can tend to shrink and get brittle with time. My old radiator had 142K miles on it and was actually still functional with a slight leak, if this lasts 1/2 that time I'd be very pleased. One thing i will note, you can see in the picture of the radiator there are two vertical metal slats that run downwards. This was not present on the factory unit. This made it more challenging to re install my ZJ Clutch Fan (Thicker than Stock) and my power steering cooler/electric fan combo. I thought about cutting the slats, but some cursing helped. Last Update: Note this is an aluminum core radiator.

1989 Jeep Cherokee
It fit the frame, etc. well, but the hole for the temperature sensor was smaller than the stock temp sensor; had to convert to a temperature sensor for a 1991 Jeep. Doesn't come with a radiator cap. Also had to add an overflow reservoir. But no leaks and seems to work well so far.

This rad was the exact fit other than a slight cutting on the factory top rad support at the filler tube. No biggy and the price is unbeatable. Hope it last as long as the original.

Excelente producto.

If you’re just looking to replace your leaking rad with the same one as stock this is for you Delivered on time and very well packaged! Lined up perfectly in my 99 Cherokee, make sure to save all the hardware AND rubber isolators off of your current radiator. Upper and lower rad hoses were a breeze to get on and fan shrouds went in without a problem. IF your Cherokee is automatic you will have trouble with the lower transmission coolant connection, I ended up cutting the connection off and hose clamping onto the new rad. 4months no leaks
