Worked out great for my kid’s helmet!

We had previously bought an easton helmet without a guard. This was a great addition. The snaps on the helmet unscrewed to add this and it comes with the necessary screws (though you can screw on the metal snaps on the bottom holes to accomodate a chin strap too). It isnt super heavy so it does not mess with helmet balance on my child's head. I would note: this guard specifically says for softball on the product wrapping. That was fine for us- softball is the use- but on Amazon it says baseball or softball. I think it leaves too big a gap between the mask and the helmet visor where a baseball might get through. Only lost one star for the price. The mask cost as much as the helmet!
