The pan literally had black paint type substance on patches across the pan. The pan had already chipped off some metal when I received it. Packaging was damaged and torn with pan sticking out, almost. The pan by itself had a lot of black residue which God only knows is left behind by what. Tar, paint..no idea. Tissue papers kept coming out black. I have been using Lodge, Meyer and Rock Tawa and Amazon basics cast iron products and I've never come across quality of product this bad. Won't be going back to this brand for any needs, hereafter - wastage of time and effort.

The pan became rusty and unusable after the first wash.. I just wanted to wash the pan before using it and this is the state of the pan after the wash. The black coating vanished and hidden under the paint is this rusty pan. I understand that iron pan are prone to rust if not in use. But not like this . This is the worst product ever. Waste of money. Never buy this product.
