I have no willpower to get off my phone sometimes. This has been really awesome!! I have such peaceful mornings when I know getting on my phone is simply not an option. It’s crazy how much calmer I am!! My anxiety is MUCH lower. If you feel like you’re on your phone too much and are on the fence, I would say go for it!!! Pros: - great value, does the job. Doesn’t feel like it’ll break easily or anything. No reason to spend more than this imo - has little holes on the bottom that you can string a charger through to charge it while it’s locked up. I don’t think this was the intended purpose of the holes but I use them for that and think it’s nice. - easy to use timer/locking mechanism. Only cons: - the little emergency code to bypass the timer is too easy to memorize. I sometimes need my phone for work so I dont feel comfortable using the fortress mode. I memorized the bypass code the first time I had to use it and now I think it’s slightly more tempting to just punch it in really quick haha. Wish I had the extra step of having to read it to deter me but Not a huge deal at all. It might be possible to change it, but I haven’t tried. I kinda think you can’t. But yeah I would say try your absolute hardest to not look at it for as long as possible lol. But also, once you get kinda used to not using your phone, it gets a lot easier to resist. - it’s a bit small. It can fit several of any type of phone but no other type of device. Now that I have it and love it I kinda wish I had one that can fit my gaming controllers too. That’s kinda my fault tho for not just getting a bigger one. if you only want it for your phone(s) it’s the perfect size. If you’re getting this for gaming then definitely get a bigger one.

Just received it a few days ago — I LOVE it — the best-timed lockbox by far. I highly recommend this product. It allows me to lock up my controlled substances and reclaim healthy habits securely. As a recovering addict, I never take risks and remain committed (15 years sober and counting). Before discovering this gem, I insisted that my partner hold one medication for me for over a year. Now I am independent and fully capable of managing my life. Sturdiness? Check. Battery life? Check. Easy to use. Value for money? Check. Storage capacity? Check. Satisfaction? Check! Also, be careful what you decide to set the timer for, especially in Fortress mode. There's no way to override it, and you'd need to call customer service. It may take up to a day to get the override pin. Get this product if you're looking to break free from unhealthy habits — whether it's vaping, screen time, or something else. Good luck! Updated review: I had originally scored this device as being GREAT, but that their Customer Service was lacking. The box comes with a card that says if you ever have an emergent need to open the box while it is fully locked (Fortress Mode), you need only email the company for a temp code to open it, they promise to respond within 24 hours. Well, I had such an emergency, however they failed to respond to me as agreed. So, I scored them down in review. However, they have since contacted me, apologized profusely, and promised to do better. So, I'm upgrading to 5 stars because the box really works great (I actually have two of them). Cheers!

I would have given this 5 stars if the unit didn't have such a marijuana odor upon opening the box. I was tempted to ship it back, but a soapy wash cleared the odor. I'm a dispensary owner, so I'm not anti drug. That said, the lock system is easy enough to manage and works reliably. The unlock feature uses an old school, Nintendo cheat code to unlock it when not in "Fortress Mode." Its construction wont resist a set of tools and brute force, but you can only blame yourself for that. The locking mechanism is reinforced with stamped steel that prevents prying it open with only screw driver. Cutting of the structure around the latch reinforcement is required. Don't blame the company if you tool up and bust in. Buy something stronger than your tool set instead. It has two 15mmx9mm access ports on each side of the bottom, easily allowing charging cables to enter the storage area while locked. I got the fake wood grained unit. It looks nice. I've seen the white and it's, well, white. As far as value goes, it's not super pricey, but I have seen metal units for the same price. I have not tested the metal units, and can say this one works great.

I'm 40 years old and there's no reason for me to be unable to put my phone down to watch Netflix for a few hours or fold laundry or wash the dishes. A friend suggested this and I thought it was stupid...it's not. It really helps--I mean you physically can't use your phone and that's the point. Obviously you can put whatever you want in there--cigarettes, snacks, whatever--and it's easy to use. There's a standard lock where you just lock and unlock, a timer mode where you set it from 1 minute to up to 30 days and can override it to open with a code, or fortress mode where it's impossible to open unless you call some special number and they do it for you but I guess they charge like $10 or something. Anyway, great item, has a port so you can charge your phone through it too.

Can anyone help me step by step on how to activate and set the time in Fortress mode, it seems that whenever I want to confirm the time at the end of the setting it cancels the whole setting and returns again to a point of zero which is very frustrating since I know the normal cancel code I need a stricter mode than Standard lock pattern

La caja y el mecanismo funcionan muy bien, el diseño es funcional y se logra todo lo prometido. Sin embargo, al leer las instrucciones, se observa que 2 de los 3 modos de bloqueo se cancelan utilizando el conocido código gamer Konami. No creo que haya sido prudente utilizar un popular código gamer para anular el funcionamiento de un aparato que está relacionado con tecnología y gadgets. En las instrucciones no hay indicaciones de que se puedan cambiar dicho código.

Easy to operate and the support team was very quick to help me out when I accidentally locked my work phone inside the box instead of my personal phone

Excellent product . Does what it promises. Can store phones , camera, tv remote or even small android tablet. Easy to use and the fortress mode make it so much easier for me to get a digital detox. And distraction free deep work. No more scrolling digital media for me. I had adult ADHD and the phone was like a drug. Give it a try!! It helps. On a side note. I accidentally locked it in fortress mode for 30 days instead of 17 hrs . !! Reached out to the support team via email and within 20 minutes they were able to get it open for me . Very quick to responde and very prompt in their actions in solving my problem .
