I use these when lifting my RAV4 and a Peugeot 3008 at home. Despite the low price I was unsure about, they turned out to be solid. Small, strong and stable with good grip. The handles make them easy to position and remove. Very reliable for home car work. no smell.

I bought these to chock the wheels of my van when it's on levelling ramps and whilst I've not tested that specifically, I have tested these on my drive, which is steeper than any field I've tried to camp in. Using a 1m long spirit level, and chocking it so it shows as level, the free end is 7cm above the drive surface, which sounds less steep than it feels (1 in 14). the van settled onto these chocks and felt secure. Once settled I couldn't move them and had to pull the van forward to release them. I think they'll do fine, and for camping, small is a bonus.

These Howsehold Wheel Chocks are an easy design, durable and easy to use, well thought through and great value, we stop the Car on the Hand Brake, set the Chocks, then release the Hand Brake, the Car rolls back slightly, Set it in Gear and set the Hand Brake to a half lock, our drive has a slight slope which most do.

Personally, I think these are a bit small - I did have another set which were wider and taller, but they collided with the front wing bumper when jacking up the rear of the car. I expect these will check the wheels adequately - it's just that they seem a bit too small (check the dimensions: 15cm x 10cm x 8.5cm). The original chocks I received with the car in the wheel-changing kit are smaller! As long as they stop the car moving - job done. With any of these chocks unless the tyre outer diameter is an exact match the height is irrelevant as the tyre wont touch at the top!

When I ordered this chock set, I hoped for quality but wasn't really and truly expecting it. Pleased to report that these chocks are far more robust than I expected, and the grip on the contact surface where the chock meets the tire is simply outstanding. My application is installation and removal of knock off wheels torqued to 400 lbs-ft. You can imagine the twist being applied. The only disappointment would be the cute little 'handles' on the rear of the chocks... nowhere near the quality of the rest of the chocks, but overall these chocks are a keeper. Highly recommended. Overall performance is a 5.

These are pretty small, wouldn't trust them on a truck or large car, but they are perfect for my offset smoker with 12" wheels, exactly what I was looking for.
