Hunter Douglas PowerView Hub System Package - desertcart.com Review: Works with Alexa and Google Home - I purchased this to replace my 1st generation hub because it didn’t work with Google home. I plugged this one in and connected it to the router, keeping my previous hub connected. Then, using the Powerview app I was able to setup the new hub, automatically copying the settings from the old hub. Then I connected it to Google Home and Alexa. It worked like a charm. Only works for Hunter Douglas shades made after July 2015!
Be aware... this hub only works with Hunter Douglas motorized shades manufactured July 2015 or later. Nothing in the product description, or on the Hunter Douglas web site, mentions this. I had to call Hunter Douglas customer service after trying and failing to set up the hub, and only then did they give me the information. Apparently there was once a Hunter Douglas "Platinum Gateway" that worked like the PowerView Hub for older motorized shades with "PowerRise", "PowerTilt", or "PowerGlide" in their descriptions, but that Gateway is discontinued. The PowerView Hub is not backward compatible with any of them, and there is no way to upgrade or retrofit older shades to the new system.

Not that easy to connect; difficult. Purchased to connect with Echo and was unsuccessful.

It was used for Hunter-Douglas motorized window shades.

CAN NOT PURCHASE THIS DEVICE ALONE, MUST BE PURCHASED WITH THE BLINDS. 50% chance supplier won't know what this is or how to get
Not sold with there blinds and impossible to find and or order both online and in person. Honestly I suggest you stay well away from Hunter Douglas if you want any form of automation, they are a virtual minefield in this area.
